Jordan you need to be taking the young birds from the racers when they are 4/5 weeks old or feathered under the wing . If they are the size of the mealy you showed then you'll probably lose alot as they can already fly . The mealy looked about 9 weeks it's wattles are starting to whiten up. Your going to have to keep them in at least a week before you let them fly out of the loft and when you do just open the door / Bob hole and walk bk and sit and watch them , let them come out on there own . That's good To know that u gonna transfer the young pigeons to your loft because young pigeons are easy to tame unlike the old ones.Ang if you have pair of pigeons you can also free fly them.folower from the Philippines

Make sure you are adding new blood lines to your frizzles and modenas because at the speed pigeons reproduce, they are very susceptible to in-breeding

if you put a pigeon trap , make sure that it has a enclose aviary as well because for viewing purposes for them to know & teach them how to enter a trap door , revised your main door to a smaller one & put up a mini release door for them , just my suggestion to you , you may research it at the youtube channel for you to have an idea how to built it or renovate your loft to a bigger space , so that they can fly around inside similar to your barn , ok bro.

That flying loft is pretty small small,i wouldnt put more then a dozen birds in there bc u have had some problems in the past of over crowding and that is how they get sick. Also if u want good birds u need to get rid of every single feral asap

Grizzle is incomplete dominant, so your hen won't be carrying 2-copy (Homozygous) based on your offspring out come. Your hen is Grizzle 1-copy (Heterozygous) of the trait, you should be getting a ratio of 50% Grizzle 1-copy (Heterozygous) and 50% Non-grizzle, you keep hitting the Non-grizzle. If your hen was Grizzle 2-copy (Homozygous) of the trait, you'd be getting 100% Grizzle (1-copy). M8 that was another great video. 👍 . My humble opinion is snakes and coons are getting free pigeon meals. It may pay out to place a trail cam near the door , and the openings , there could be a hooman factor in the situation , you'll never know. Good Evening Jordan a good vid. It was good to see all the gibbs well nearly geese now and the chicks, which are nearly full blown hens. Right, Jordan, you must get a loft sorted out for your young racers and put a big trap on so that they can look out to see all their surroundings,or they will not know where the f..k they are!!! It was great to see the turkeys for Thanksgiving, we might see some butchery soon.
