I’ve had a rat problem with my pigeons as well. I lost tons of chicks and money plus them pissing in the birds water making them sick. I’ve moved them and now have poison laid out, haven’t had an issue since. I’m sorry about Red I know how it is losing a favourite bird.

Good Evening Jordan, great vid ,sorry you have a big problem with so many predators. Too many gaps in the ground floor lofts and probably the chicken sheds. Some tin sheets nailed up will stop the problem. Too many racoons around there, Jordan, get them trapped or shot! Very sorry that Red's gone,he was a legend in his own time! The geese and chickens look well. If you get more geese and ducks, Jordan, dig a big pond out for them. Your quail chicks and turkeys look fine, some big turkeys running around with the geese. You should try using an electric fence on the outside by Premier one works very well I know tons of people that use it for their chickens Ducks also I use it around my pigs to avoid predators

I know how you feel.I left the farm for a day and when I can back I had lost close to 20 breeder chickens and 12 of my 14 pigeons.I turned out we had a weasel come pay a visit.I was so upset.Though I was glad that he left my two favorite pigeons Junior and Pablo Escobar

Get the live traps out! Raccoons will just keep working out someway to get your birds. Even if your vigilant, they are finding meals there and they will return. You could catch them all and cage them. Then take the whole family 50+ miles away.

If you don't know what is getting into your barn get a cheap security cam from Walmart like the $19.00 Mercury brand that I use. It caught squirrels taking my eggs. I.D the culprit then take action.

Just put some hardware wire on the outside. Chicken wire can be bitten thru by animals. Even high up as they can climb. Rats, minks etc can all squeeze thru tiny holes. Those raccoons could easily come in from up high as well. Get an alpaca guard animal!

Don’t waste money on rat poison. Go to Walmart and buy some original Irish Spring bars of soap and tie or put them around your loft on the inside and outside it keeps the rodents and flies out. You can KZbin or Google this valuable information and it works because of the strong fragrance 👍

Hey, its probably rats because i had the same problem and whenever there was breeding i was losing chicks and eggs, the chicks cant fly or anything so they get eaten and the parents just fly on to the high perches, one day i was about to feed the pigeons and saw the rat eating a chick, the chick sadly dies but luckily we were able to save its nestmate. Poisen should do the job as it worked for me, good luck

Raccoons for me, are the most dangerous to animals, over coyotes and cats. It's a sure sign when the head is missing from carcass, and parts are left it's a racoon. Coyotes and cats will carry off animals. If you see one racoon you have to times it by 40. I had 30 chickens, and 2 geese kill in last two years, here in Kansas. They are hard to trap, definitely considering night vision optics, but they are so spardic when they show up, also. All is well though, hope you get your pesk. Lol

you have to contain them asap , otherwise you might lost many of your barn / farm animals aside from your pigeons , just concern only about your pets & other livestock in your barn / farm , or set a trap for them , once captured you may release them in a different location outside your vicinity , donated them to the zoo or wild life sanctuary but still it's up for you to decide , just an a option / suggestion only , if you don't mine , ok bro .

Man I lost a about 10 chicks to rats this year before I found out what it was it suck always the best looking ones too

Both turtles are females, you can also tell if a turtle is male or female cause males will have an indention in there she'll to mount the female and females dont have that indent.
