Im a white belt and I love single X guard since I can sweep and get an ankle lock usually, but recently they have been shoving my top hook on their hip flexor down by their knee, any counters for me?

I love this sweep, white belts be careful doing this in comp, if you don't get that arm free when you come up you can get DQd for the bicep slicer if you don't release it quick enough

You can put your "free" leg between theirs like half guard and do it that way too.
