This isn't a first--the RadioShack 43-3704 is another example of a model without a Uniden equivalent. The slowness to 7-digit dialing is likely because it needs to wait to see if you're going to enter more digits or not. On Cell2Jack, you can press pound to force the digits through, but this may not work on all services. Uniden loads the settings as it loads the menu, so it can immediately show the current setting for each option you select. When you save it, there is the normal delay as it saves to the base. On other brands, it works as you'd expect, where it loads the setting each time it's accessed. There was the slight delay when saving, which could mean this applies to all handsets. The area code setting is the same way--it applies to all handsets but it has to do with their individual lists. The handsets get those settings from the base as the call comes in. I definitely don't see any reason to turn off CID phonebook match. For some reason, toll saver is the default on Uniden phones. Panasonic took much better advantage of the base microphone by allowing handset-base intercom. Now that the greeting is done via the handset, no more base intercom unless the base has a speakerphone. Also noticed there's no scrolling battery icon while charging unlike the 1580 and most others.

At 15:12 I have the CID/Phbk Match on my Uniden 2080 set so it isn’t something out of the ordinary but I still don’t understand why somebody would want to turn that off lol

I've never encountered CID/phonebook match on a DCX200.

I just looked at the manual and it does in fact have the option on DECT208x series built in 2008-2009. Those built before 2008 won’t have that option.

These are Uniden phones, just with different branding and there wasn’t one with Uniden branding.

If replacing the battery doesn't fix it, then it's likely a screen issue. Older cordless phones sometimes had screen issues.
