This episode was really amazing! I especially loved the conversation on her experience auditioning for Idol and how similar it was to my experience on The Voice. From rehearsals, to wardrobe, to interviews,....I loved the work! I would do it all over again if I could. The part about the wait and prep before you perform hits home as well. You performance day is a lonnnnnngggg day. I remember being up at 6am and waiting until 8 pm to perform. I is very nerve racking. Obviously my story didn't turn out like Ms. Sparks but you never know....maybe one day.

I went through the same thing Jordan years ago. I got to the field, auditioned, and they told me no. It really hurt my confidence. I wish I had someone to push me because back in the early 2000s there was a "type" they were going for. If you had the wrong producer and they what they wanted they would say no. fast forward 10- 20yrs later I sing lead on my praise team, I know I've always been able to sing but cudos to you for having the fire to keep going. Congrats to you!
