Jordis was my favorite from Rockstar and I was watching the Voice on DVR and was behind and my sister called me and said you're going to flip when you see who is singing last and when they said her name, I was so pumped up. I've been wondering where she went. How this chick doesn't have a career is beyond me. I hope she takes this show, she deserves it

Jordis was seriously the best one on this season. Unfortunately she hit a rough spot later on and got sent home :( but she just posted on her Facebook the other day that she auditioned for The Voice! I'm hoping she made it, sticks to her rock roots and we get to see her on TV again and get an album soon!

@seamusmcmad The point was that just because YOU see someone as influential, doesn't mean the rest of the world does. The same rule applies to Hitler, and everyone for that matter. I don't think that is really hard to understand, at least for me it isn't. Keith Moon was an inspiring drummer, he definitely inspired other people to play drums. I just don't see anything else amazing from him other than that. Now Beethoven, on the other hand, I think he was amazing. But what do I know?

=) I think Jordis may have toned herself down, actually. People keep blaming the show, but look at Beverly McLellan from Season 1. She went on their tatted, with a shaved head, as an out lesbian, and did great. I think maybe, as Jordis got older, she wanted to be considered more than just a rocker? I'm not sure but I really feel she excels at the rock stuff. Notice Blake said how "Jordis wants people to know she's more than just a rocker, that she's a writer. This is where it started for her."

yea true but the lyrics in baba o' riley convey a different message, not something about sex, drugs and rock n roll, it's a song about sadness coming to an end and happiness taking over again and it refers to the vietnam war because look at the time period: 1971 and the famous chorus "teenage wasteland" tie in with the fact that billions and billions of american teenagers were forced to fight in the war and thus sent to vietnam and they really got wasted by having to do that!!!!!!

The Who and Dead played together in Oakland in either '75 or 76 ( I have the bootlegs somewhere in my garage.. it was October and if my fuzzy memory serves, one of the shows was played on Entwistle's b'day ). Pete actually played onstage with the Dead in 1981 when The Who headlined the Rockpalast festival which was a big European simulcast concert...I think he jammed with the Dead on the old Stones classic Not Fade Away...another boot in my garage that I'm going to have to fish out...

The Who have been rocking for over 45 years...45 fucking years! Very few bands attempt Who covers because of the passion and complexity of the music...U2, Pearl Jam are the only ones with the balls to regularly cover the music...this gal did a nice job...

The version of the song is really way too short. The song should include all the verses and the solo (or maybe even solos) to make it a full experience. But the singing is good... really good even.

A friend of mine sent me this. I only knew Jordis from The Voice. When she performed on epi 3 of The Voice: Blind Auditions I said out loud, "that's it, she's going to win!" And there were still more episodes of Blind Auditions left. Jordis is AWESOME! \m/ Btw, I picked the winner last season from his blind audition.
