They had like 28 months scheduled left of their Tragic Kingdom tour. So it was a very awkward time for the band. The song Don't Speak sort of reflected her pain for being rejected.

This is very special because we are witnessing a woman that can never have the life she once had. No Doubt was always "that" band in Orange County via word of mouth...but this was No Doubt headlining a sold out show in their hometown of Anaheim...and nothing would ever be the same. The start of the Tragic Kingdom tour was much smaller to this tail end of the Tragic Kingdom tour wherein the band became mega superstars. I was at this show and this performance always gives me chills.
