Why .... such strength and ambition and no fourth position before turns. Totally turned inwards before each pirouette... why...... Also what's with the relaxed cou de pied in the air. I think its the left foot. Why... these technical mistakes could be corrected so easily... Anyway. Great dynamics but you gotta turn those feet outwards before turning.

Generally speaking I do agree with you, but he’s one of the best turners in the world, and that set works for him. It’s not as beautiful, but his style is still very clean, and it allows him to do 8 pirouettes with ease

@@SrtZipTop it works for him because its a (bad) habit. There are so many dancers that turn eight pirouettes or more without inwards fourth position. What he is doing is too extreme. And the worst part is that it could be corrected. I would never sacrifice the quality of the technique for the quantity. I don't think that's what the art of ballet is about.

Are you blind or am I? No doubt the talent is amazing but come on guys. Late on the entrance, every single jump starts with a flex foot. Flex feed before every jump, every pirouette starts from the competition studio fourth positions, all turned in, no classical preparation is in six position. This is a Classical competition, not jazz competition . Talent ? Yes. But I whoever cleaned and coached him shouldn’t be coaching classical dancers. Obviously, they have no knowledge of basic foundation to every preparation of every combination. He needs to find a good teacher to take him to the next level. He deserves to be in ABT, but he will never put foot on ABT’s stage if he doesn’t change his coach . Sloppy and dirty performance. By the talent of the kid is some of the best I’ve seen. Thank your parents and God for those genetics. Absolutely incredible.

@@mercyobourke8776 Puedes pensar lo que quieras, y ese es tu derecho; pero he visto muchas cosas de Barani donde siempre muestra los mismos gestos ajenos al personaje. Es lo mismo que le pasa a muchos bailarines como a Natalia Osipova, que en la escena la veo siempre a ella con vestuarios siempre diferentes, con mucho virtuosiamo físico, pero raramente al peresonaje. Ballet es arte y no gimnasia.

@@Manuel2009Quevedo En Giselle el carácter individual de los personajes es esencial, así como en Lago de los Cisnes, Quijote, Corsario, Romeo y Julieta y Espartaco, por listar algunos de los baléts más dramáticos del repertorio, y en esos la actuación es esencial, además de las tremendas exigencias técnicas de la coreografía, sin embargo, Las Sílfides, El Espectro De la Rosa y otros similares al contrario requieren una expresión impasible. Los baléts de Stravinsky, Tschaikovsky y otros que narran tramas más o menos dramáticas son otra cosa; incluso El Atardecer del Fauno requiere dotes tremendas de actuación, pero La Valse y Bolero no. Pero como dices, es cuestión muy personal también. Gracias por los comentarios.
