nah... henry hooft molded usman into a dangerous striker from pure wrestler. fundamentally sound and dangerous.. he really won 3 fights and lost 3 with whitman. Basically his career went downhill. The last fight he was actually good again but he was with Henry Hooft in the florida gym training when the short notice came in. hooft also joined his team to fight chimaev. tbf, he wouldve had a much better chance against edwards with hooft in his corner too. dunno always kinda bothered me that whitman got the props for usmans striking.. like that ko (fake take down>overhand) was wittmans influence which is frankly ridiculous
