Thanks for all of your detailed bike reviews. They're very helpful. After watching many of them I ended up buying the Joroto X2. You can't beat the value you're getting for $400. As an added BONUS, before buying it, I emailed Joroto customer service and told them I am considering buying the X2, but am disappointed with the monitor that comes with it as it lacks cadence, and I asked if they could provide me with monitor that comes with their X1S model which has cadence!! They responded in less than 24 hours and to my delight, they indicated that they would send me the monitor. All I needed to do was send them my order number for the bike once I made the purchase. Sure enough, I got the bike and the FREE monitor upgrade. More than satisfied with the purchase and their customer service !

Just wanted to say thanks for all your reviews! After watching a ton of your videos on different bikes, I went with the Joroto X2. I emailed the company and they sent me the computer for the new x1 for free:) This bike is great for me. I'm short....only 5'2" and it fits well. I use the Bitgym app on my tablet and cast to my TV and just ride. I did switch out for clip pedals, and they are amazing! Thanks again for all your videos!

So, with a new Joroto 2 in my livingroom, I can mention a couple things...as a novice, I started by riding sitting straight up, arms at my sides. I'm 5'8" 215 pound woman, so as I lose weight, the seat will be more comfortable (less weight pushing down). I cannot reach forward comfortably to hold on...the handles are raised even beyond the stop mark, but clamp in tight. The seat is where I can almost extend my legs (long legs), and the seat has to be scooted back, otherwise my knees go past my toes when bent...not good for your knees I think. I have to say, it is super quiet, which we need in our apartment. I was able to adjust the bike to make harder and easier. Even though I'm terribly out of shape, I will continue to use this bike.

Just ordered my joroto x2! Couldn't be more excited. The bike scored low on metrics and features, 2 in each category. Luckily for me I don't care about those specific categories too much. The main reason I bought the x2 was for the magnetic resistance at a reasonable price and most of the reviews I read had very positive feedback on the customer service. I read way too many horror stories of people receiving broken bikes and having to deal with shitty customer service. Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you for your videos. They really helped me make an informed decision, there's a lot of bikes out there and It can be difficult to decide on the one for you. Thanks

Thanks for your feedback Gabby, this was the very first bike I applied the TailHappy score to and it is a really solid bike, I ranked about 7 bikes at the same time so if the score is low in some categories it's mostly because other bikes performed even better, and the scale doesn't really account for price other than the value Category. So a $400 bike vs $1000, $2000, and more, need to leave room on the upper end of the scale. Thanks again for your feedback, I may revisit this rank in the future. Joroto is a really good bike for the price.

This just dropped to $339. My decision comes down to this or the Sunny 1002. I really don’t need the cadence/resistance/power displays, as I can probably eyeball my cadence with the instructor and eventually get a feel for resistance. I’ll also probably be using the apple+ fitness app when that releases, so I’ll have my heart rate and all on screen through Apple TV. My question is, do the Sunny pedals come with reflectors for night riding? If you had to choose between the 2, which would you go with?
@TailHappyTV4 жыл бұрын
lol, no reflectors on the sunny bike, so if you're going to ride this bike down the street past sunset you should install your own reflectors on the sunny. it's a tough call mr wilson, the major trade off is physical vs magnetic resistance. magnetic feel smoother, but the sunny has a higher max resistance and it's louder. i think the build quality on the sunny is slightly better but the joroto is solid. lol, i'm no help, am i?

It's an all around solid bike. I don't use the computer that came with it. I just set my desired resistance and ride away. Is there a stationary bike that will work with apps like Zwift, sufferfest, be cool etc? These apps use ant and ble to get metrics
@randomCADstuff3 жыл бұрын
There are bikes that work with Zwift and other apps. It's important to first check that your bike is supported by Zwift or you'll have to join using an unknown device, which will limit your Watts (or you'll get DQ'd if you go over). If you want an 'interactive' experience (meaning the resistance changes when you bike up/down hills, etc...) there are some really neat stationary bikes but they cost big $$$. The Schwinn IC4 (aka Bowflex C6... I think) apparently transit cadence/power which is what Zwift needs to allow you to 'play'. You won't get 'interactive' resistance changes and will have to manually adjust your resistance. And this link shows that it's not so easy to get an accurate reading: forums.zwift.com/t/schwinn-ic4/175730/65. Apparently, and I'm still looking into this, you really only need a Power Meter (that also measures cadence) in order to get any bike to work on Zwift. They discuss that in the link I provided (along with the challenges of attaching a power meter to a stationary bike). I'm thinking about going that route but need to look into it more.

so a week after trying the bike. Its amazing. No complains whatsoever. I am not a pro biker or indoor instructor but from someone who is very athletic and uses the bike daily and follows hard drills on it I can confirm it holds its own very well. In my case I adjusted the bottom leg supports so it wouldn't vibrate and the pedals are okay, they also hold their own. Al in all I would give it a 8/10, -1 for the pedals, and -1 for the digital screen (its really useless tbh).

Scoring Suggestion... Order categories in order of importance, from least important to what you consider the most. Assign proportionate multiplyers to each category, say between x0.5 and x1.5. Tweak until a 10/10 score in each category would equal 100.

How close can the handle bars be adjusted to seat? I'm 5'2 and am looking for bike that fits my size. Thanks!

I’m 5’1 and I put the handles as CLOSE to me as possible and it’s perfect!

Thanks for the review! I just started using the Joroto with Wahoo and Peloton, at minimum resistance i can barely reach cadence of 90! Is the MINIMUM resistance on this bike heavier than others you reviewed? I refuse to believe I'm that out of shape!! Have you had any problems with a wobbly saddle? Also what SPD dual platform pedals would you recommend? FYI this bike is great for Petites, I'm under 5'0. Loved the TailHappy Score!

Thank you Lynn! I thought the minimum resistance was pretty light for the bike I received, they may be calibrated differently. If the saddle is wobbly it's probably not right, or the adjustment for the post is not screwed right, check those and watch your fingers so you dont get hurt with a wrench slipping. Will update you on a dual pedal.

Sometimes the saddle does become a little wobbly, I found just tightening the knob before each time u ride.

Hi could you tell me the maximum length from the seat to pedals with the seat raised to the maximum limit?......you could also add it to future reviews..

Dumb question, if I’ll be using the peloton app (or similar) and the Wahoo cadence tracker, do I still need to install the computer this bike comes with? Seems that computer just isn’t very good and it’s not connected to the resistance. Love your reviews. Thanks so much!! 😊

Would you say this is better than the XM16? Looking to be under $400 and after watching your other videos the XM16 seemed to be the best for me but now im stuck between these two. Just broke a pedal off my old bike and im looking to order one asap. Please respond when you can! Appreciate the help
