If you had to choose between the Jarooto x2 and the Sunny b1002 aka the one with the 49lb flywheel, which one would you pick? Do you think it's better to have magnetic resistance or the momentum and inertia from the huge flywheel? Does the big flywheel make it a better ride without resistance? Are you mostly riding these bikes with resistance or without resistance during your normal workout? Sorry for all the questions 😅 Cheers!

I purchased my Joroto X2 and couldn’t be happier! Extremely easy to setup - I did a ton of research but ultimately what sold me was the great reviews, magnetic resistance, and value. Like many of you, I didn’t want to shell out $2,500 for a Peloton bike and $39/month on top of that. The best part is I connect my Wahoo RPM Cadence and stream the Peloton app ($12.99/month) through my TCL TV.

purchased the JorotoX2 some months back because I was looking for an inexpensive workout bike to add to my home workouts. I was not a biker and preferred walking or weight machines. The Joroto was a wonderful surprise. much as you described. It gives a nice ride and has been an excellent introduction into exercise bikes. Since I am a senior, it is unlikely that I will ever need a bike with a heavier flywheel or greater maximum resistance. The display meter is, as you say, basic but it does provide basic information. Unfortunately it is not backlit. Adding an inexpensive Wahoo cadence motor provides the needed information regarding cadence. There now is a resistance gauge on the market which can be attached. I also purchased a bottle holder that clips on the handlebar thereby allowing room for an Ipad when one can watch videos and apps on biking. So for about $470 or so it is possible to get many of the features of a far more expensive bike.

I’m sure it would be. Most people are 5 feet tall. Especially women who are the lion’s share of indoor cyclist of the models they use on the boxes are to be believed. When you’re as tall as this guy, or even me, 6”3, that’s where buying these bikes get tricky. Many don’t go up this high.

The 1877 is on sale at Amazon right now for $300 and may have a $20 coupon you can clip. Its a no brainer and ends soon. I'd assume the 1877 is better than the 1805 but idk.
@jimduggan89623 жыл бұрын
Actually looks like 1877 isn't better because it has a 29lb flywheel vs the 44lb flywheel of the 1805. Still pretty solid I'm sure. 1877 has a monitor which can be useful. I've had the Joroto X2 for 2 years and if I had a choice I'd buy the Sunny 1877 right now.

@@jimduggan8962 how is your Joroto X2 working. I would love to hear your review on how it works after having it for over a year.
@jimduggan89623 жыл бұрын
@@minnieblue1149 It works great. I got discouraged recently thinking the bike was the reason why it was hard for me to pedal but I was just out of shape and not committing enough energy. I was looking to lazily get through a ride but it takes effort. I hurt my back recently (unrelated) so I haven't been able to ride for 2 weeks now. I definitely don't regret getting the bike. I would maybe look to see if I could find a Sunny with similar specs for the same price because Sunny's just a much bigger brand with a reputation and easy to find replacement parts or repair videos. Spending anything more than $400 I'd likely start thinking about the Bowflex or Schwinn bikes.

I have the IC4, it's an amazing bike, I'd do it if you want metrics. It has a great smooth feel same or better than studio bikes. Resistance on the bike is higher than any peloton class would go to, even though it might be only 85% of peloton (according to TailHappy). You're not going to be able to get a "resistance" sensor for the 1805 and the most you could get is a power pedals. If you're doing Apple Fitness+ and get a cadence sensor the 1805 will be fine, as they look at HR, watch metrics, and RPM. If you want Peloton, go IC4. There's a resistance conversion chart, and FTP tests you can do through your phone for the Power Zone classes as the IC4 has a power meter. Speed is a function of power (as it factors resistance) and is displayed on the screen. IC4 metrics are a little overdone for the calorie count and power output. I would say it's ~50-100cal higher from my Garmin once you get to 600-700cal on the bike. I haven't tested it but some say you go a little too fast in zwift.

I have watched a number of your videos that have featured the Sunny B1805 bike. I think it would be a great bike, but based on your videos and some other information I have researched, it has a few disadvantages. One is, based on your videos, that the magnets seem to be just glued into place, and I have wondered if they would ever fall out or become unglued. Another thing about the Sunny B1805 bike is that it weighs 125 pounds. This would be a tremendously heavy bike to get inside of a home, because if I have to get it up some stairs, or at least over a front door ledge, it is really pretty heavy. I don't know if I would be able to get it into my home all by myself. I think I probably could, though. The delivery drivers usually leave things outside. However, based on what you have said in your videos, it seems to be a very stable bike with really good, solid, heavy-duty handlebars and frame. The Joroto X2 bike is a little bit lighter, but is still pretty heavy to get inside a home. Actually, I think the Sunny bike is better, although I have never seen either bike in person. I think the Sunny bike would be quite a lot of fun to ride. I'm not sure if I really need it, though. What I mean is that I probably don't, or, more accurately, I really don't. You made an interesting point about "getting your foot in the door." However, here is a counterargument: I know people are tempted to buy something cheaper when they are just getting started, but I have found that before long, I'm ready for something better. Knowing what I know now from your videos and other sources of information, if I were not worried about the weight of the Sunny bike, I think I would get it right away, and not worry about getting something else. Besides, maybe we need to have a heavy bike for it to be really nice and sturdy. Thanks, John Your videos have been really informative.
