I found this song when it came out several years after my father died, and it reminded me so much of him. We had a very troubled history but I'm at a point in life where I forgive him and miss little things he used to do on rare occasions when I was very young, but I still remember like it was yesterday. Like when he'd tuck my feet in at night to keep me warm. This song makes me cry every time I listen to it (so I don't too often) but also brings those memories back.. Love the artist for this because I honestly have only not so good memories of him but this helps me with the better and mellow side for some reason. After all these years it still hits the exact same.
