Bruh you could say the same of any other country. Their status as great power is always determined by "luck". Spain was the most powerful country during 160 years.

@Samuel-tr9rj not really. Wars of conquest are illegal today so whatever territory you have is all you're going to have. Other powers would not allow anything like in the past from happening today
