Great legendary game, and nevertheless you haven't forgotten to tell about the "Titan" former world chess champion Emanuel Lasker, who had won this extraordinary tournament! Thx a lot!

Thanks for covering this game. I had been waiting for it for some time as indeed, it’s a famous one. I understand you decided to be brief and not touch on both the controversial aspects as well as analyzing more of the side lines. To keep it simple….

…as Chess Base mentioned, Lasker said he felt a little obligated to play more of a risky/intriguing game since spectators looked forward to this game between two legends, as opposed to going for a simple draw. Lasker complicated things a bit, but claims his chess clock was malfunctioning and that prevented him from drawing the game. Chess base pointed out that Lasker could’ve infiltrated with his rook later on and had a counter attack as Capablanca erred at one point and could’ve given both sides equal chances, but Lasker feels this game, his only loss, could and should have been avoided, and in anger, he refused to participate in the follow-up New York 1927 Tournament (which is sad for chess history)

The road has come to an end for Emanuel Lasker

is this an example of the great capablanca style? Just understanding the value of connected past pawns and knowing that he can convert that endgame? I'm sure Lasker saw Nxf5, but probably calculated the defense and thought he could consolidate while having the 2 bishops and up material.
