great way of putting it a lot of people don’t see that other countries do the same thing US does just that since the US is number 1 in todays world it gets more opinions. One thing i do disagree is when u said it sucks being americas friend. A lot of countries think otherwise. And the ones that do say that haven’t been fucked with by other countries 😂 S Korea knows

I think everyone needs to settle down. First round of deportations happened to folks who are detained for crimes other than crossing the border. As a man who can’t just take my entire family to a Mexican resort, some of us are not legal, no one that I know is afraid of being deported. As for all those “what about abuela” people, it will take so long to get around to her that she probably will be dead by that time. The funniest thing is that people in my family could be legal if their parents just went through the process years ago.

It takes now a 2 years to get a green card in US after approval. Before it took one- two months. Can you imagine that ? It takes now more than one year to renew you existing green card. Immigration has stopped working long ago, so better save your money on them.

You do have to take into account the number of ppl applying. The number of ppl going to mexico from the US is tiny tiny numbers compared to the ppl coming into the US.

@@hellaloudddd I can give you a reason for that , for example, to make a Mexican residence you have to show for immigration office your bank statements for 1 year with $ 80 000- 300 000 dollars on your saving accounts. On another hand, to make a US residence you have to show your empty ass and somalian documents.

I sincerely doubt that will ever go through and it's more political theater than anything else. Almost impossible to amend the Constitution. Either way if it does go through I agree that would be a dark day in US history. With that said I wouldn't lose much sleep over it.

Simply because it's hard for them make money in Mexico. For you if you're retirees in Mexico only spending money the life in Mexico is easy, but for migrants they lack resources their only hope to get into US is to make money, even the lowest dishwashing job get pays 10x more than in Mexico 😢

As the other comment pointed out, in Mexico there are no free rides and no government handouts therefore everyone has to work and for minimal wages they can get in their home countries. Most immigrants were going to the USA because of the promise of a Free ride. Money, Housing, Phones, Jobs, and even Rides to their final destination. But in Mexico there are no such benefits. Either way at this point in the game Most Mexicans have had enough and have all been begging the Mexican President to deport them.... and that's exactly what she is doing.
