I heard if you go to Baja there is no tip permit on the vehicles. If I take the ferry across to Puerto Vallarta from Baja, will they stop me with my vehicle? If anybody knows the answer to this, let me know Thank you. I have a stamp on my passport on march of 2023. I’m so glad.
@JoseArteagaTravels9 сағат бұрын
There are certain zones close to the border where you do not need a TIP such as Baja but once you go beyond those areas you will be required to have a TIP

For anyone asking, Jose Novelo is the real deal. We got our family of 5 temp residency last year. In addition, he also helped us open our Mexican real estate company so we could purchase a home or 3 and be within 50 km of the coast. Highly recommend.

Contact Fedex, DHL, UPS and ask them what the their costs are and delivery times. I do not work for those companies I have no idea.
@shapourdashtpour6323 сағат бұрын
can you give some examples of what happens when we go without a licensed rep buying
@JoseArteagaTravels21 сағат бұрын
Yes a prime example is when you send the money to purchase a house and then before you know it, the money and the unlicensed Rep are nowhere to be found. And there is nothing you can do about it And if for some reason you finally find the people who stole it from you it's almost impossible to recover the money back. In fact most people have no choice but to take matters into their own hands but even then.... the money is gone. This is not the USA or Canada therefore you need to have tons of hard evidence to prove they took the money... but when the Judge sees that the rep did not take the money, but instead you gave it to them... That is when people are out of luck because there is nothing a judge can do about that, and there is nothing in writing, and if you do have something in writing it's either not valid, or when you actually translate and read what they signed they realize how it says something completely different. Again this is just one of MANY examples. Ultimately it is up to you to decide what is best for your situation. This is Mexico after all, you can do whatever you want, as long as you are willing to pay the price. But after living here for almost 7 years I know there are ways you can protect yourself and this is one of the ways consumers can protect themselves. This is what I am sharing with you guys in the audience. Again as we mentioned you can buy from anyone it's up to the individual and their personal risk tolerance as to what direction they want to go. Long Story Short Due your due diligence and you will be fine.

@@ScottSmith-se5fv since you have the expired tourist visa from 2023, you should be good for applying (again) for temp residency this year. I would definitely contact jose novelo and pick his brain about it. His advice, services, and team are worth their weight in gold.

Been living in Cabo for 5 months in the winter since 2009. We started the paperwork in Dangerest then Mx. Portland, OR. It cost 53 bucks each for us and this did about 70% of it. The rest was easy here in Cabo. We had to prove we could support ourselves in MX. They are smart and the U.S. is extremely dumb. At 83 we are sold on living here and also voted for TRUMP 3 times as the States are in deep do do,BROKE.

Cancun is a super heavy tourist destination like Miami so that is why you see so many more people out on the beaches out there and so many resorts busy throughout the year. Merida is a different type of city that attracts different kind of tourism. Out here the main attractions are the peace and quiet, museums, archaeological sites and much more. The beaches get full out here during the summer months when all the locals are out there. Right now during winter it is Too Cold for most of us locals to get into the ocean or spend time on the beach only a few tourists hang out at the beach during this time of year out here. But long story short Merida and Cancun are polar opposites and that is why there is a huge difference in the culture as well.

I have a billion dollar idea: Mexico legalized cannabis and decriminalized all drugs. Turn the dangerous border cities into growing and manufacturing cities for Mexican state companies letting the cartels grow and sell to the state as well crushing any need for an illegal drug trade and turning border cities into gold mines! No one on that side would want to cross the border, no reason to with thousands of jobs and then all the other businesses thrive and people will come back to Mexico on their own. Make Mexico the Portugal of the North America! No charge for the idea I can be hired as an advisor.

How many do we pay for over staying our visa each day?
@JoseArteagaTravels3 күн бұрын
I have no idea what the cost is these days. You can contact your local immigration office for more information on the exact cost of overstaying your visa. BTW it is not something I recommend anyone do unless you have no choice but to overstay. Please try to follow the law and leave before your visa is expired. But as I said if it is expired you need to fix that before you leave or else risk having a problem not being allowed back in because of an irregularity with your immigration status.
