Dear@@sibarit101 , of course I fully agree with Bart Voskulen. You bring the unknown composers again to life with means a lot to most of your listeners. You deserve a lot of thanks for all that very important work! As always love from Rotterdam and stay healthy.

My friend your footnotes are always generous and informative. Most good channels on YT miss this important feature forcing people to surf here and there. I mean Mysliveček is quite well known (at least among the hunters of lesser "obvious" music) but sometimes you bump into really obscure folks and a couple of sentences would provide some context Regardless, Mysliveček violin concertos always remind me of his Tartini legacy. Tartini is the most "Eastern" among Italian composers (technically today would be Slovenian as we have lost that piece of land since a century..... but .... we are all Europeans aren't we?) Curiously enough Tartini music is lesser known than his name itself, just linked to a couple of famous pieces, but I guess a few people have really listened all his concertos whose integral recording has only recently been made available. On the other hand his whole sonatas are not yet available and many remain just unsung, sadly waiting someone to voice manuscripts. Obviously Mysliveček has got his own style and Tartini is just an important legacy to understand his personality but cannot explain all his complex melting pot, son of several cultures meeting together

Thanks for the comment that subtly suggests quite a few topics, including historical, but which, I think, can't be "debated" here or discussed with me (oh, I always have to remind everyone that my English is so poor! ). And there is a little sadness too, I think for the first time I feel it in your comments ... Anyway, you made me think of Tartini's music ... you're very right, we all know his name, but we know too little about music. I will fix this ... :) Thanks again, have a great weekend!

@@sibarit101 appreciated your support on Tartini knowledge. Your uploads are always very good and well pondered. I've learned a lot and rediscovered many composers I had only seldomly listened or at least insufficiently. Mysliveček is one of those you stimulated me to deep dive and today upload has been a great refresh. Goodnight.

@@sibarit101 I think your English is amazingly good! Much better than my Dutch, which I was brought up with for my first 11 years.
