Omg David, Dutch pancakes are not crepes haha. French crepes are very thin. Dutch pancakes are thicker but still thin enough so you can roll them up. I prefer the Dutch style over thick American ones because you simply get a higher topping to pancake ratio thus more taste. I don't like thick pieces of dough. Btw, I prefer my pancakes savory. The first time I realized that the brand of those pizza’s is “Big Americans” instead of “Big American”. It’s just one letter but still. Sometimes I buy a supermarket Pizza because I don’t feel like cooking that day. But this brand I usually ignore. I tried it a week ago for the first time in years. It reminded me why I ignored them. The Big AmericanS pizza’s are disgusting sugary I think. It just made to look like a pizza but when you make it in a different shape than there is no association anymore to the origin of “the pizza”. Btw, most pizza’s you would buy in the supermarkets only have an excusable percentage of real cheese. It’s in the product to have the brand be allowed to say there is cheese with the pizza. But most of these so called pizza products use over 95 (possibly even over 98) percent a much cheaper product that imitates cheese.

He had the exact same reaction I had when I tried that Dutch syrup for the first time 😂

It's just old traditional syrup similar to thick apple syrup. You need a knife to sort of roll around in it and scoop it up. I prefer Dutch schenkstroop by Van Gilze. It's thin enough to be poured over your pancake but thicker than say maple syrup. Schenkstroop comes in a bottle.
