Chocomel .. in my country it's called cecemel, because chocomel already existed when nutricia (the guys from the coffee creamer) tried to bring it to market. Here in belgium we consider cecemel (or chocomel for the rest of the world) as one of the best non-artisanal chocolate-milks available, it's also considered a very good breakfast-in-a-bottle, especially if you eat a waffle alongside :)

@@BoGy1980oh yeah i remember that, i went ot belgium on vacation several times and how they were called "cécémel" even been in france jsut across the belgium border and they were cecemel too i don't know the first time i noticed the difference, but i know i didn't know yet in the 90s when 20 belgian francs were about 1 dutch guilder, bit more, but you spent them like that on vacation with conversion rates and all that :D (i'm from 1982 so a 90s kid), it was probably still in the pre-euro days i found out though

On top of domestic drinks like that, a lot of Pepsi company soft drinks are made in a factory near Utrecht, Vrumona in Bunnik and distributed all over North-Western Europe. Always fun to go on vacation in France, get a pepsi or so on a terrace, and finding out that pepsi was made right at home lol.

Well, AA Drink you had is considered to have the most amount of sugar out of any drinks available in NL I believe. It has more sugar than Coca-Cola, BUT, if you're sports person and want to fire on all cylinders, it's really good. Also I use to drink it after getting hangover.

Pro tip for an attempt: add roosvicee to your Karnemelk. Tbh i don't think it'll fix it for your man as he doesn't seem to do well with dairy related drinks but we loved it as kids. Another thing my mom taught me is a slice of jonge kaas and a bit of pindakaas on it, roll it up and enjoy. En we used to put the last bit of yoghurt in a coffee filter (with the filter holder from the coffee machine) and put it on top of a mug in the fridge overnight, then put some roosvicee in the next day and you got a lovely desert.

When I was younger the teacher told me what my favorite drink was so I responded with wicky but i pronounced it as Whisky so I didn’t know what whisky was at the time so the teacher responded quite surprised and a bit shocked so later on she called my parents because she thought my parents where giving me whisky.
