My SSG10 A2 arrived yesterday and I had an unexpected and pleasant surprise. This is my first foray into sniping. I usually run a Marui HK416 Delta Tan recoil shock and I wear a WARQ full face helmet. Aiming can be a bit awkward but I love the helmet as it never fogs up unlike every pair of goggles I've ever tried. I mount my Reflex sight on a 45 degree mount and it works. However, I was dreading how the sniper would handle and had resigned myself to not using the helmet when in sniper role. But.......on the A2 stock, you can remove the adjustable cheek piece completely....this allows the helmet to sit perfectly in the space it creates and my eye is lined up with the scope perfectly, no tilting, no drama. It's a perfect sight picture and very comfortable! I cant wait to try it out on Sunday.

A little bit late :p but i use a warq helmet for the same reason and i already thougt about buying the a2 stock because of the removable cheeckpad. I was not 100 procent sure if it was possible to remove it but now i know it for sure. Thanks :) do you still like the sniper after 2 years?

I'm also having my research on ssg10. I had the chance to shoot some bbs with one. 100% stock (even bucking) 460fps version. It's crazy stock. Imagine going on a cheap vsr platform, buying upgrades with a final cost of >500€\$. That's what ssg10 gives you with much less. People cry about price, claiming it's expensive, not worth and needs upgrades. My honest opinion, the only upgrades I would use is just a 6.01 ZCI stainless steel, and maybe a TDC hop up unit. But out of the box it's just amazing and it's worth EVERY SINGLE CENT.

Don't get anything from Novritsch, everything he sells is just rebrand and marked up cheap guns. SSG24 is the "best" thing he sells and it's just a Modify M24x, the Modify USR150 is $30 cheaper and so much better than the SSG24. SSG10 is nothin gbut a JG BAR-10 with a bucking in it. If novritsch got into GBBR He'd likely do what he does and pick something shitty and old like the KWA piece of shit LM4. Which is complete shit. Just pick up something good, a VFC M4, Vipertech M4, those are your best bets. Other good buys are the VFC UMP45/9, VFC MP7, TM MWS. You can get a WE but I only suggest that if you are willing to buy a ton of upgrade parts otherwise you will be replacing triggers and hammers and parts out. A WE M4 or MSK with a Z-Parts trigger group will last you ages. Also, get PDI-W Hold 50 degree buckings, they're better than the maple leaf by quite a noticeable margin. Maple Leaf is about the best thing you can but that's not a PDI-W hold, but... why get the maple leaf when the PDI-W is better GHK is a decent option but only if youa re willing to invest into Hephastus internal upgrades. Otherwise they suffer from the same issue WE has, soft pot metal internals. And if you are playing every single week that will wear out fast. GHK can be really good with Hephastus parts, similar to how a WE can be good with Z-Parts & Angry Gun internals. Z-Parts makes ENTIRE conversion kids for the P90 that replace the entire trigger box etc. GHK is really your only option for an AK though. The WE AK-74 has some upgrades but the trigger box itself can wear out... and the GHK have better externals. But yeah, personally I run with WE stuff becasue I like to punish myself. If I was smarter I would just invest in a ViperTech already. The best airsoft guns ever made. ViperTech are beyond anything else being made, period.

A big advantage of the ssg 24 over the vsr is for me, the third screw that is directly holding the barrel, contrary to the vsr 10 platform, where the barrel is only held in place indirectly via the hop up chamber. Over time you gonna have some play on the barrel, which is super bad for accuracy, no matter which fancy barrel/nub/rubber you gonna use. No matter how good is the barrel/receiver quality, it will happen (i have 2 vsr, one with pdi external, one with stock external and they both suffer from this issue). Thats why now my main rifle is the srs, and thats why i think that if the ssg10 doest have this third screw, for me the ssg24 is better.

@@johnfaustus1 one tm and one custom made. I still stand with what I said : Novritsch should have stayed with the ssg 24, maybe it would have help the industry to move away from the vsr platform. The vsr platform is not the best because it’s the best platform in it self, but because the industry/community has developed through the age the best aftermarket parts (especially on the hop up part). The industry make almost only aftermarket parts for the vsr because people only buy vsr, and people buy vsr because this is the most supported platform. At least silverback has managed to make the srs/tac a real (and for me the only) alternative platform.

If you're handy, I suppose you could cut a picatinny rail, weld it to a kind of clamp to clamp around the end of the barrel, for front sight mounting and buy some cheap iron sight sets off of ebay. @Cruser10684 жыл бұрын
I've not done this and am no expert but sounds to me like you should buy the 2.8 and fit the optional Air break pins. @@Mrpivot34 To the same as the SSG10? Just the bucking if you don't include the aesthetic changes. Other than that there are no actual upgrades beyond a few tiny inconsequentials that don't end up improving anything. To make something better than the SSG10 though? EdGi or PDI Hop up Chamber,. PDI or EdGi steel trigger set. PDI-W hold bucking. That's it. You can get a PDI, EdGi, or Lambda barrel too and it is that much better. EdGi and PDI unlike Novritsch actually are engineers who have tool lines and put in tens of thousands of dollars into R&D. There are many, many, many guides about upgrading the BAR-10 with PDI/EdGi/Lambda parts. Angry Gun I believe makes a few bits too. The biggest upgrades are the trigger and hop up chamber. PDI makes a 2 armed hop up chamber that is the closest thing to precision hop up adjustments that exist in Airsoft. The main reason I am warning you away from the SSG10 is how... shit condition they are in. I've had to outright rebuild one for a guy local here, screws weren't screwed in, the gun case it came in was smashed to shit even though the shipping box was fine meaning Novritsch put it into the box destroyed. And I've seen pictures and reports of other people seeing the exact same thing. I've had to work on two of them so far. Both had loose and wobbly chambers. So my money is on Novritsch simply knew Mucha was going to do a video review on it and gave him one of the quality assured SSG10's. Like seriously, the one I had to rebuild with EdGi parts ($300 so, pricey, but the best thing you can get next to PDI imo but other techs argue EdGi are better. Tbh, I think they are pretty even but PDI have some features that are just on another level!) - - the cylinder didn't have its nozzle secured to the gun and among other issues like the trigger was wobbly and not pinned correctly. The Entire thing was a mess, whoever assembled it left so much unsecured and the inside fo the chamber was scratched so they actually TESTED it and tried to bolt it. There was a set screw inside that wasn't fully in and it was scoring the shit out of the interior. That SSG10 was a nightmare. The other wasn't nearly as bad but the entire chamber wobbles and barrel assembly so I had to get creative and make a few extra screws to hold it down into the stock... The SSG10 is an embarrassment in my eyes. And I am not stranger to budget guns! I use a lot of WE GBBR's, hell WE have really fantastic engineering but they just use shit materials to build their things so I enjoy them design-wise but... yeah. So I know and I use budget guns. But the SSG10 is not a good buy.- I cannot caution you away from buying anything from Novritch hard enough. Even the SSP because all the SSP is, is the old out of date KP-05 IPSC. Which is inferior to the modern KP-05 which has more steel internals and a TM compatible hop up chamber along with an upgraded back safety. This is why the SSP's back safety busts so often and you can't change out the bucking easily. Because the bucking is nothing but a purple-dyed stock KP-05 IPSC bucking. Like that's the issue with Novritsch. He doesn't build a single thing he has no engineering degree I could find either. The SSP is nothing but the KP-05's base, with the KP-08's dust cover (grips), and the KP-06's top slide. But he just licensed the old out of date KP-05 so it's all trash compared to the new KP-05 and it's like $150 more than a KP-05. So it's like, why could you buy; - SSG24 when the Modify M24 USR150 ischeaper and more modern/upgraded - SSG10 when the JG BAR 10 is so much cheaper you can use the money for BETTER ugprades - SSP when the new KP-05 is superior in durability and upgradeability - SSX23 when the MK23 it uses is only worth $50 USD with a Hadron TDC hop up $15 and a Maple Leaf bucking $8? Actually, there's some merit to the SSX since the MK23 it uses (the name escapes me, it's not he ASG but it's the other one. Not TM) are very hard to find in North America. So it's overpriced but they ARE hard to find at least. THe only thing worth buying in Nov's shop are his SSG24 magazines because they're better than some of Modify's magazines. Though the new USR150's magazines are better, and they have built in LED's for tracers. ANd they are cheaper... Novritsch is just kind of a shady guy who sells extremely marked up and old guns that companies no longer make. KJW doesn't even support the old IPSC KP-05, Modify has moved on to the USR150, the JG BAR 10 is still made but there are better more modern versions of it out there too. Some JG BAR-10's come with the exact "upgrades" the SSG10 has except bucking. But even then a PDI-W Hold bucking is better than the autobots. They are at least competitive with each other but the PDI-W hold is objectively better at the end of the day and doesn't ask you to get a concave bucking.

@@ErgonomicChair no 25 year warranty tho
@ErgonomicChair3 жыл бұрын
@@helisoma Try and take them up on that warranty. Welcome to 6-10 month long wait times as they wait for their suppliers to send them factory OEM CYMA/JG parts, or them simply stating "there's no ETA" on replacement parts. KJW focused on the KP-05 and stopped making KP-06 and KP-08's for awhile and NO ONE could get a SINGLE back safety or trident spring for the SSP1. I had THREE customers waiting for faulty parts to be replaced for the SSP1. I have videos of the JG BAR-10's I've had to fix because Novrtisch offers ZERO support. That 25 year warranty is the most bullshit warranty I have ever seen because he has ZERO ability to honour it.

You would be surprised at how well scopes hold their zero. Depending on quality of the scope obviously. But I dropped .270 out of the tree I was deer hunting in, got down, went back to the cabin (because I didnt want to risk my scope being off and wounding the deer) and low and behold, I went out back fired one shot at a target and it was still dead on at 100 yards

Ssg24 or ssg10 ?
@miikmar4 жыл бұрын
As for 299€, ssg10. Much better value than ssg24. Ssg24 price comes mostly for custom parts made especially for it, example really solid stock. Ssg24 is good gun, but for 299€, there is no question that ssg10 is winner.
@ErgonomicChair4 жыл бұрын
I had a guy bring an SSG10 in. The barrel, chamber, etc all wobbled. I wouldn't suggest or recommend anyone getting it.... the JG BAR-10 is cheaper and the same quality. I assume Josef got one that was abctually quality controllled... but yeah so many people here are getting SSG-10's that have a wobblign loose chamber, scratched cylinders, sub-par compression parts compared to the stock VSR-10 or JG BAR-10 Maybe if Novritsch actually quality tested them to the standards of this one sample model. But they are leaving the factory shitty. Even then, the JG BAR-10 is a cheaper an equal alternative. Do yourself a favour, pig up a BAR-10, put a PDI-W hold bucking in it. Profit. If you want an actually super good VSR-10 look into PDI and EDGI kits. They are superior to anything Novritsch rebrands. And yeah novritsch doesn't make anything he just rebrands shit btw. PDI and EdGi have also fixed the "BB's always fall out" thing. Pretty simply too. Again all the SSG-10 is, is nothin but a JG BAR-10 rebranded with some aesthetic changes. PDI-W is superior to the Autobott 100% and I've been putting both of these in customers' guns for ages. Autobott doesn't come close to PDI-W Hold.
@helisoma3 жыл бұрын
I've received two SSG10s in the past year and neither had the issues you mentioned, and i also took both apart...anyone who looks at the internals can tell it's not a rebranded product
@ErgonomicChair3 жыл бұрын
@@helisoma What the hell are you talking about? You're outright lying, several internals on the SSG-10 are BRANDED with JG item numbers and product codes... have you never tech'd before in your life? You're completely lying. The SSG-10 is a JG BAR-10, the rest of Novritsch's products are ALL REBRANDS he does not have a factory, they do not have a production facility. They outright and completely lie about that. Hence why he lost the licensing fo rthe SSG24, because Modify was pissed off Novritsch claimed HE ENGINEERED IT. He was not allowed to make that claim. So once the license ran out, Modify didn't renew it. It's also why Modify broke their deal and began selling the Modify M24 USR150 in North America and Europe (which has actual internal upgrades btw) when Novritsch only had a license for the M24x which was the Taiwanese version, but he put a 150 spring in it. HENCE WHY IT CAME WITH A LOW POWER SPRING. Even Dayton from house Gamers has gone on camera and said Novritsch is just rebranding, even Airsoftology has stated that the SSP1 is just a rebrand though he didn't state it was a KJW but he said "Novritsch would be angry if I told you the gun this is..."
