Joseph Seal Late Night BBC Light Programme Broadcast 1961. Continuing on looking at what the BBC Light program was putting out in the Summer of 1961 re organ broadcasts. And here we have Joseph Seal at the Regal Kingston Wurlitzer organ which he broadcast many times right into the mid-1960s and also recorded a number of LP records on this organ during the 1960s. This was the last program on the BBC Light Program that night apart from the news. We are now so used to 24-hour radio and TV but that was still a long way off way back 63 years ago.

Sorry for my mistake! I am only human and words were never a strong point and still seem to jumble all up in my day I was just classed as just thick at school maybe now they call it dyslexia! How lovely to hear the Maestro of the Kingston-Upon-Thames WurliTzer, Joseph Seal once again. It is a beautiful instrument and Mr Seal got the very best out of it, creating a very distinctive sound that was truly his. Thank You!

Many thanks yep heard this organ many times in the old church and the late Les Rawle took me all around it and I even got a play on it back in its Brentford days. I always like Joseph Seal's style it seemed easy on the ear and so natural wish I could play half as well as that! Thanks so much Kev.
