I'm IMPRESSED!! you hung in some severe COLD like a trooper Brosky!! I'm in the Midwest and accustomed to some cold and wind, but you actually camped out in weather that takes the lives of elderly with poor housing and homeless folks! I'm really impressed you did it with a debris hut.

Not sure if it is of any use to you, but in Norway we had bigger sleds which we used as our bed. Lined with reflective material, thermarest on top with whatever sleeping system we had and also had them modified to mount a tarp on top using tent poles and mounts on the sides. Only thing we had to do was make sure our duffels were completely waterproof. Made life easier so just pull up, dump the bags out, tarp over the top, sleeping system in, fire, food and a cup of tea :0) Not always practicable but a quick set up if you need it. Good videos, keep up the good work!

Good ole video my man i use to do the same thing when i was a teenager and even in my early to mid twenties . Id take my old dog sounder and a shot gun and a little bag with a wool blanket and a sleeping bag and a cast iron skillet . Me and my dog would eat squacks and id keep a pot of coffee going and just love nature . i would keep a fire all night though but hey each to his own . I love your energy.

Dang, that made me cold! Hey you know the Thunder you had? Last Wednesday, March 2nd, it was 50F, with Thunder & Lightning and SLEETING like Crazy! 45 minutes later it was 33F! That was one of the Craziest Weather days I've ever seen here in Atlanta. I've only camped twice in the snow and Loved it, we just don't get many chances here. The coldest it got here this winter was 22F. We had a Very Warm Winter this year. I Really Enjoyed the Video, Thanks for taking us with you!

I live in the southwest USA. I use to live in the North East its was cold there in the winter, I miss the winter camping out. Me and my girl friend sure had fun, We would camp out on the weekends with our tent and all the dead wood we could find. I would dig a hole about 3 feet wide and 2 feet deep. We would back pack in food for the weekend. The hole would be lined with rocks after they dried up. Smoking weed and drinking wine jeez miss her and our times together.. The home made steel grate we made together made a lot of ribs and steaks taste real good. I miss the late 70's and the quiet of those days. NO cell phone No video games, NO interruptions of any kind. Just me and my love. Its was a great time. We had a good fire all night long with the bed of coals. We always had a warm fire. No body ever get us shit about camping. it was a different time people minded their own business. We always had fun.
