This is right level of confidence! Detox shouldn’t have won her one challenge in contrast to Jinx should have won at least one more challenge (perfume commercial). Watching back Detox was really underwhelming at times and one trick lip sync for 3 times ...

I’m a biological female & have never questioned or struggled w/it, & I’ve def been one of those people that had a really close mind when it comes to gender. So if anyone wants to, or feels like it-can u explain why it’s so important? Is it validation? Just trying to understand, I guess. No one has to reply if they don’t wanna ❤️).

Favourite part of this was Jinkx talking about how, although art can be used to process and integrate trauma, there's an important difference between working through active trauma onstage vs creating your art from a perspective of agency and clarity once you've gone through the work of processing the trauma. Joseph, you were so correct with your "chef's kiss" comment after Jinkx explained what being non-binary means to them. I'm a straight, Irish woman who lives under a rock - only got Netflix a few weeks ago and only discovered Jinkx a few weeks ago as a result. I've been gorging on them ever since so I LOVED this interview. I thought Jinkx's description was very, very powerful and as someone who has a very open heart and mind but very limited experience, it was really powerful to me to hear and understand the description of non-binary as Jinkx described it as I previously didn't fully comprehend what it meant. To my knowledge, I don't personally know any non-binary / gender-fluid people but this frank description really resonated with me and will help me to be a better ally going forward. I think Jinkx is one of the most charismatic, talented people I have ever seen and I hope against hope that their travels take them to Ireland some day because I will be front row and centre.
