My favorite part was when she went into depth about she felt during the moment when she spoke about the sexual assault. I personally was sexually assaulted and it took me 7 years to speak about, and seeing someone being strong on television and telling the world meant a lot.

As someone who was sexually assaulted when I was a child I really appreciate Blair talking about it. I didn't even realise at the time that it wasn't normal and it took me a decade to realise that it was wrong. When I eventually talked to someone several years later about it I got the same kind of reaction of "Why are you talking about this now?" I have got that reaction with most people I tried to talk to about it. Last week I talked about it with a friend of mine and I was so grateful when she actually listened and was sympathetic. Just to know that my feelings were valid was amazing.

I think you'll find you have a lot in common with a LOT of people. I was raped and molested my entire childhood by the men in charge of our church. It ruined my soul for a long time. Sending you all my love.
@Clink20004 жыл бұрын
:( i’m so sorry you went through that experience. Your feelings are valid, and dont let anyone question or tell you to feel differently. Everyone feels differently, reacts differently, and no one can tell you otherwise. ❤️

Feelings about that? Definitely valid. And if we always say "why now?" then there will never be a "right" time to bring it up. No time like the present. I hope you're in a better place, hun.

your series has become one of the few YT channels that I look forward and check every day for your interviews. You allow us to get to know these artists at a deeper level and appreciate their talent and as people by making them feel welcome with your charming personality. My favorite part was when you mentioned the change on her confidence and her response was more than perfect. She said it wasn't so much about confidence but more about having fun and live in the present moment. Many of us forget of the joys life and people can really bring you if you chose to have a bit more fun in your life and ALLOW yourself to be happy :)

As a survivor of sexual assault, seeing everything you're feeling on the screen, watching you do your best to deal with the pain, and come out on the other side is SO powerful. I am so proud of you. I hope you feel proud of taking control of your story. You are amazing, and you bring so much light to so many. Please don't lose sight of how impactful telling your story is. I love you.

It really bugs me how they edit shit. I remember feeling so sad for Blair when she opened up about her sexual assault but I do remember also thinking it was kind of random how she just came out with it the way she did. That makes SO much more sense to hear that they were probing her.

I really loved how Blair wasn't afraid to talk about the "real" stuff. Something that I won't forget about this interview is when she brought up that admitting/voicing something out is the first step to healing! Although it is cliche, it's definitely true and honestly - it can be the most difficult part of the process. Thank you for continuing to be an inspiration to everyone out there, Blair! We love you!

My favorite part of this interview was when Blair said "you were a victm for so long and now it's time to be a survivor" This just got so deep into my heart and i'll never ever forget about that, because watching Blair talk about her experience with sexual assault on drag race is the reason why i opened up about the fact that i was raped. It hasn't been even 5 months since it happened and i'm still feeling a mix of emotions, but i'm glad that i was able to ask for help (at least from my close friends), and i have to thank Blair for that. She made me realize that it's okay to have a voice. So she kinda saved my life... literally That's my favorite part ❤

my favourite part of the interview is when Blair speaks about her past, openly and honestly and truly shows how it has affected her , taught her and the way she has moved forward from it. I think that the way she said it shows that the past teaches you lessons you have to learn from, and thats a big thing many people have to learn. The part of the interview that really impacted me the most (and possibly made me cry!) was when she talked about changing the mindset from being a victim to being a survivor. This really impacted me as I went through a lot in my early teens, resulting in anorexia which lasted for years, and the only way I could actually start recovery was changing that mindset from victim to survivor. The comments in your own brain hurting your most is something I completely relate to, and rewiring your brain and thought process is one of the hardest things to do, and I’m so so proud of Blair for being able to do. I’ve now been in recovery for one year on July 8th (yay!) and when she spoke about what she’d gone through in her past in terms of assault and growing & recovering from it, it gave me great comfort and hope for the future

I think it's incredible how Blair was so open and honest about past events that impacted her life Things that aren't easy to talk about let alone share with the world. Super brave and important it also could help many others to discuss what's happened to them while knowing it's not their fault. As so many survivers will say they changed themselves at first and then accepting it wasn't their fault witch is so important to know. Also love the passion Blair shows for all the things she does. Beautiful inside and out.

My favorite part of the interview was when Blair said she was based in DC. It reminded me of when I saw her perform at the DC Eagle a few weeks before the pandemic started and she removed her coat for a reveal and I was too drunk to realize the coat never cam back down. I saw it like an hour later still hanging in the rafters. I still don't know if she ever got it back.

I loved this interview very much. Blair is one of my favorite artists and seeing her grow so much in this period of time is very, very, very fulfilling. I have followed Blair since before her appearance in RPDR Season 10 and despite being geographically distant from her (I live in Parma, Italy), I have always felt her very true and close to my aesthetics and my character (although as a drag I am much more "klub kid"). My favorite moment was hearing her say everything she would like to do in the future and how she wants to make her "artistic" life have more job opportunities. This is something that I feel very common with her. I too have always felt my creativity come together in several "aspects" of art (fashion, drag, interior design, web design ...) and feel a person like her, whom I admire a lot, say and "try" the same thing was very nice. Also because often people try to catalog you and put you in a box, without giving you the opportunity to express yourself in other fields (or at least try). And then I love the 360 ° artists like her who have multiple aspirations who want to let the public know their soul completely by doing, as in this case, drag, music, TV / film, wigs ... I hope Blair can get to the top 4 of All Stars 5 and also win; but even if it doesn't win for me it will always remain a phenomenal drag. ❤❤

I have really fallen in love with Blair!!!! She’s amazing!!!! I also absolutely love to watch “Exposed”!!! I have seen every single one of them!! It is entertaining and very informative and it also helps to have some eye candy as a host! 😜😍 I have to say that my favorite part of this interview was Blair really opening up because as a victim of pretty much the exact same thing, I personally know how hard it is to talk about that. Not only does it bring you back to the horrible memories but there are times where you have to hear “You caused it on yourself “, “You wanted it”, “Well you shouldn’t of even been there”, and people just basically flat out not believing you so I know the courage it takes for Blair to open up about that and I think that is very commendable. On a lighter note.... another thing I have in common with Blair is I would want to get in Tammie Browns mind JUST FOR A LITTLE BIT!!!! I wanna know what’s goin on in there BUT JUST FOR A HOT MINUTE! Blair you are absolutely amazing and keep rocking it out there!!!!! I do declare!!!! ~Stevie

My favourite part(s) is with Blair explaining her names and somehow I can relate. When she talked about she prefers to go by Drew and that’s so true if a fan is trying to be close to her and call her by her boy name then this person should also know better that she doesn’t go by Andrew as well. And also when she explains how there’s no Es to her name and it must have happened to her before because not only it’s a simple honest mistake to misspell her name, but I mean something so simple can really be all it takes to stop a person from locating her on social media 🤷🏻♂️ Thanks Joseph you are one of my favourite interviewer your interviews are always pleasant to watch. Good listener, and good timing ;)

Could not love Blair more! She's stunning, brave, strong, and fierce! I love a girl who people discount sometimes because she's small or looks "like a kid" but she's so unashamed to be herself and keep bettering herself and wasn't afraid to live for her. My absolute favorite part of this interview is honestly the part where she says, "First off, thank you. But secondly, I'm not the first Queen to top the Billboards" it was so classy. A lot of people, not just Drag Queens, would have just taken the complement and ran with it and been like "I'm the best the ever was!" But she made sure to credit other Queens for being good too and I find that just so classy and beautiful. Lifting up other people doesn't take away from your achievements and it takes an incredible person to do that. More people should be willing to do that, especially in this crazy world. Keep slayin Blair!

Honestly my favorite part of this interview is when she spoke about her sexual assault. She is so strong and I look up to her so much. She is an inspiration, so genuine, so talented. I hope she makes AT LEAST top 3 on AS5! It's what she deserves! And I'm pretty confident she will. I'm so impressed by her growth since season 10 and I can't wait to see what she does next! She will have my support for many years to come

I have the very same thought on my mind when I leave my house: I always tell my parents I love them and kiss them goodbye before leaving in case something happens to me or them.

My favorite part for real was when she said about been taking serious as an drag queen because I think a lot of people just have this misconception that drag is inside this box of being funny and exaggerated, but there are so many different kinds to perform this art. And as a girl who wants to start in drag this is such an inspiration for me.

stan blair bruh... i love her. i know this sounds weird but my favorite part of the interview was how perfectly the two front pieces of her hair were casting a shadow on her face that somehow made her cheekbones look extra perfect...literally looked so damn good...and getting to know her haha she is so sweet.

Throughout the entire interview I was writing on my notes new creative projects I want to get into just from hearing all the things Blair is doing. She is definitely a hair and wear icon this all star season. My favorite part of the interview was when you Jo said how Blair telling her truth helped you out, because ya´ll don't even know how many people relate to that. Also the video where Drew ;) gets accepted season 10.. mad cute and mad real.
