+Joseph Carter I have only recently found your channel. Thanks. What kept me watching the first video was your voice and your words. You seemed like a responsible and compassionate animal lover. I'm commenting because I'm shocked by other posted comments. The ignorance, hipocracy, disrespect, and anger left me dumbfounded. I dislike factory farms as much as anyone. But I have forced to educate myself by watching some of the brutal YT videos. If I'm going to eat beef or chicken, I want to be aware of the sacrifice that animal made for my nourishment. I don't want to stick my head in the sand and pretend the gruesome process of slaughter doesn't apply to _my_ meal when it obviously does. I haven't seen all your videos but I have to comment on your words at the start of this one. You referred to the 'devastating loss' when an earlier animal was killed by a car. I immediately felt the connection that you had with that mink. Amongst other things, I could see your respect for another living being. I want you to know that I see you as a good person doing good things. I just hope you have the ability to disregard the vitriol of ignorant commenters. 'Enough said ... 'carry on, sir!

My first Ferret was from a fur farm and about as mean as your Mink. I bled many times before I got smart enough to handle him with my welding gloves lol. After a lot of training he turned out to be a sweetheart.

+LeafyisQueer fur is not just about the looks... Up north where i live, it's the only thing we wear during winter.. If we're not wearing it, we would freeze to death.

I miss Washushe! In rewatching this I realized the mink farmer mentioned several times that they've used him for breeding. Do you think they might still have mink with Washushe's blood and genetics? Maybe it's still possible to have the legacy of Washushe return...
