When the narrator says 'whom the greeks called" ,he uses english names anno the AD 1700s and onwards (!) Just pointing that out. Big flaw. For example Thrace in greek was called Thrakia. The roman colony of Thrakia is almost the same as today's Bulgaria in terms of borders.

Paul would have been an illustrious person of his time. Educated scribe, traveling across the levant and the mediterrain, allegedly speaking in front of large crowds when greek, roman, jewish and other historiographers were plenty, yet no trace of his existence from contemporary sources??? Other important things you need to note, the Midianites were the children of Midian, son of Abraham by Keturah. The Midianites may have mixed with the Ishmaelites quite bit as is evidenced by the term being used interchangeably with midianite in the story of Joseph. What is likely the case is that (as is recorded in Genisis) Ishmael and the sons of Keturah lived in arabia, and Ishmael making the greatest of the nations had a name greater then his brethren, and his name was imposed on his brethren by Keturah. The fault of the muslims is that they claim Ishmael was the chosen son, he was not, he was blessed but the Messiah would not come through him. Other then that there are many protestant and early church sources that corroborate Simon Peter, the apostle of Jesus christ, being the leader of the roman church (bishop, not pope), and being executed by Nero.

Patrick Lokhorst The book you need to look into is " The Great Jewish Masque / Mask ". This book was published unknown. This book is short but it's filled with extreme details. It's quite clear upon first glance this book was written by only but a scholar on the "jews history". Of course you'll find tons of shills refuting everything an anything. It was published in the early 1900s. 1930s IIRC ( Nazi propaganda argument is out the window ). A lot of modern day archeology explorations an other groups have found evidence to supports a lot of the authors content. So you can find a conten creator named " HistoryReviewed.com ".. He's does a very very indepth exploration into this book. Narrated an relative commentary added to support. He was trying to find who the author was. This is stupid and doesn't follow the precise order of events written within the Book of Genesis. The male and the female created in Genesis chapter 1 was not Adam and Eve. A careful reading and comparison of chapter 1 and 2 reveals that. The serpent wasn't an actual snake, it is a description of character for the being that spoke to Eve, because he was crafty in his counsel with her and a seducer, an enchanter. The tree of Knowledge of good and evil wasn't an actual tree, but a lineage ( "family tree"), and it was that of the specie of male and female created in chapter 1. The "fruit" that was forbidden was the offspring of that family tree, they and Adam and Eve were not after the same "kind" of "man", so their interbreeding would cause a hybrid specie with corrupted DNA, which God had not created or made and would make this new/hybrid specie of "man" UNCLEAN. When Eve had Cain, she acknowledged this by saying that she had "acquired a man" from God, instead of saying she had begotten a son ( and Cain is also acknowledged as the son of the serpent in latter books of the bible ). After Cain murdered Abel and was banished as a fugitive and a vagabond, he said " Every one that findeth me shall slay me ", he made no mention of wild beasts. He was referring to the Serpent's lineage, not wild beasts. Cain was the first of his kind, a hybrid specie of man and he was afraid that he wouldn't be accepted as one of them, and that he would be killed by them. This is proven by God's answer to him " WHOSOEVER slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold." That doesn't make sense if you consider that God is talking about wild beasts. Although, the Bible did call the Serpent a "beast of the field": This pertained to the actions of this man in how he lived, as a beast of the field, a hunter and gatherer. Cain was a mix between a hunter and gatherer and human ( Eve ). Also, there were no other children of Adam or Eve mentioned during this time, not until after Seth was born. When God kicked Cain out of Eden, God didn't say " take your wife and go. You are both cursed from the earth." No, Cain alone had been cursed in this way. He took a wife when he dwelt in the city which he built in the land of Nod. Nod literally means "wilderness", so Cain had to find his wife in the wilderness, which means that she was also a hunter and gatherer, of the lineage of "man" created in chapter 1 of Genesis. People don't know how to read the Bible because they don't pray for spiritual understanding, they just make up their own "telling" if it, as Josephus did. Pray to the Most High for wisdom, with a pure heart and you will receive the truth. Shalom.

What is really stupid is when people don't know who Josephus was and can't tell when they are listening to an audio book of a text that is 1900 years old. it is meant to give the understanding of what the interpretations were at the time and more importantly the Jewish Wars of the first century that speak of the siege of Jerusalem and the destruction of the temple, which I will upload at a later time as I come to it in the chronology.

- Timaeus - I know Josephus was a famous historian of his time. I also know that a lot of his work was plagiarized. With that being said, he wasn't a contemporary of Moses, and wasn't privileged to be present when Moses was given the history and laws. This seems to be a plagiarism of his work, but even if it isn't, it doesn't add up to what the Bible PLAINLY says.

And neither were you contemporary with Moses. Anyway, I don't believe what the bible plainly says anyway. I don't believe Moses wrote anything and the stories of the Torah were written many centuries after the fact. Even if Moses did write Genesis Adam would have been create 4000 BC and Moses would have lived around 1400 BC, and so Moses was hardly contemporary with Adam. So by your own logic, we can't accept his narrative either because it was written too long after the fact.

I don't struggle to understand anything that is written in the Bible, because I pray and my prayers are answered accordingly. I just made sense out of the nonsense that Josephus supposedly put out, so that proves what I'm saying. The fact that you don't believe Moses wrote the books of the Torah is at your own discrepancy, but since that is what the Bible says, and you put out a work of Josephus that is clearly discussing biblical topics, seems kind of suspect. Moses wasn't around when Adam was alive, obviously, but the Bible tells us that these are the words of God given to Moses, not the words of Adam, so yeah...We can accept his narrative.
