Cheating on your partner with some random hobo who you just met or slap your partner once because of what she/he did. Anyways we dont have to agree. But in my opinion it is pretty clear which one of the two is worse.

It's so unfair to blame Cal for everything. Sure, he's not perfect, but he isn't the real villain in this situation. Rose is the one who betrayed and cheated on him, and Jack's the one who seduced her and played with her emotions. Cal was just trying to protect his love and secure a future for them both. But does he get any recognition or understanding? No, of course not! It's like people have completely missed the point.
