ESPN personalities argue pro SEC talking points and Fox sports argues pro B10/B12 talking points even when they know what they are saying is ridiculous and it genuinely makes the sport not fun when playoff spots are being decided by opinions and not what happened on the field.

but back to the take. your a fool if you think deserving is better than best. the NFL has divisional winners and we know year in and out, the NFC and AFC South 7 times out of 10 is the bottom seed of the autobid list. the NFL also is a different league because there’s more games to be played and there’s only 32 teams that will soon play 18 games instead of 134 FBS teams that only play 12 games. so it’s much harder to differentiate from who’s better and who’s worse, and that’s why strength of schedule has to matter. it just has to. this year they kinda messed up. but the teams who lost did it to themselves. the deserving teams of the CFP have a record of 1-6. the one win was TCU. before getting blown out by Georgia
