Its not too much a surprise that you dont know him. Josh Gad did Broadway musicals and got famous from playing Elder Cunningham in The Book of Mormon on broadway (musical from the creators of South Park). After the success of The Book of Mormon Josh Gad got minor roles in some movies as well as a starring role in a TV show. His main success after Book of Mormon though was playing Olaf in Disney's Frozen, which i'm sure you know is an insanely big success. Now because of all this Josh Gad is quickly becoming more and more well known and appearing in more movies and tv shows that are due to come out over the next few years. He is someone who got very famous just from his natural innocent personality and funny sense of humor. If you want to see more of him i'd definitely recommend finding some videos from the original Broadway run of The Book of Mormon :)
