My sister's kids were obsessed with Cars when they were little, and I remember them not understanding the concept of a voice-over actor (which I guess is understandable). Once I was visiting and my sister pulled up a Larry the Cable Guy video on her phone to see what the boys would do when they heard him. They hopped over shouting, "Mater! Mater!" and when they saw the screen they both frowned and said, "THAT'S not Mater" and walked away.

Right after they stopped filming, the whole rant came to a complete stop, and he asked... can I see the video now. The sitter swears they saw a tear roll up his cheek and suck back into his eye. At first I felt it was rude of them to film, but what we learned was so telling.
