This is a lovely version of a work of genius. To my ear, nothing surpasses the original recording released by Joni Mitchell in 1969. She wrote it in 1966 when she was 23. The wonder is that it can be sung, as it has been sung, differently by so many different singers. I’m glad Groban and Bareilles made it their own. 👍🏻

I love this song..I just listened to another beautiful version of it by Molly Hammer of the Kansas City orchestra ..she had a spectacular voice and did a lot of jazz ..so sad she died so young of breast cancer, just in Nov 2020, at 48 ~ after having it since 2008 ..life is so short ..
