"February Song" is the first song I heard Josh Groban sing. I was in a sporting goods store, and I asked the register clerk, "Who is that singing this song." Fortuanately, he knew the name, and he said, "Josh Groban." I've been hooked ever since.

True story this.. I'd never heard of Josh Groban until one day as driving my truck, this song came on the radio. His voice smacked me dead centre in my ear lobes and I had to find out just who owned these velvet tones. I searched Facetube and Youbook and listened to most stuff on there and was blown away.. what a voice. I told my mate to listen to this guy, he did and called his wife to listen, she promptly ditched Frank Sinatra (her favorite) and she downloaded everything she could find of Josh, she's now one of his most adoring fans. I think the guy is simply superb

curlyjim2550 something like that happened to me when I discovered Josh. I had a Powerpoint slideshow with some nature images, and the song You Raise Me Up played by Josh attached to the slideshow. I was for a moment shocked and I wanted to know who could sing so beautiful. I figured the song was called You Raise Me up and searched it on KZbin. Since then I became a fan and I enjoy everything he sings. He is truly unique.

Kinda the same here. Just pulled into a parking lot and the DJ said...hold on you your seats, the next song is from a new artist and you will be blown away. They played "To where you are" and I sat in the car and nearly cried. I immediately did the same. Started looking up everything thing I could. Not much to find back then, that was around 2000 or so. He was new. But I never, ever stopped finding every song he did and stored it on my MP3 and phone. I have since then been to all 5 of his concerts here and hope he comes back soon, as I am getting older and retiring soon and may not have the money for one more time. He will never cease to disappoint or amaze me. He is talented with his obvious amazing voice, he is funny, he composes, writes lyrics, dances, acts...No end to his abilities. He has had that effect on so very many people. The first time I found and played his song "You Raise Me Up" to my Mom, she was so moved, she stopped it in the middle and insisted that he be played at her funeral. She passed a few weeks later and we did. Still makes my husband cry when he hears it.

I was on a construction site, 15 floors up, surrounded by forest land and sea, beautiful view. Packing up our equipment and gear as I'm a Trade Assistant and all the team have seen the rain clouds getting closer and they've all run down for cover leaving me here. After I was done packing I sat and enjoyed watching the rain from beneath my shelter while somewhere on a lower floor someone had this song playing. I love these moments.

Lost my mother and father this year, 4 months apart. It was hard to "allow myself to feel the grief" for a while - anyone who has cared for loved ones through long illnesses will understand: you've had to "keep it together" for everyone's sake. This song came on the radio and it put into music the grief of loss, the hope of human spirit and realising life's beauty again after being through a dark time. The song is complex and could mean so many things depending on who is listening to it. Love x
