My favourite version will probably always be from the old swedish tenor Jussi Björling. Hard to say of course who does it best, I suppose it's about taste. I loved the emotion and beauty in this version, in some other versions I love the power.

Really appreciate knowing about these other beautiful versions of O Holy Night.. first time I heard Josh Groban sing was this beautiful song.. so thankful he sang it again 20 years later.. his voice has grown and matured.. this version was incredibly moving.. he sings with his heart and his soul and often brings his listeners to tears.. when he does the final Noel he holds that note so long always makes me cry for the sheer beauty of it.. he is a great singer and a kind man with a caring heart.. I'm been a great fan of Josh Groban since the beginning. For me, it is a toss up between this version that he did or his original version live in front of the Rockefeller center lighting of the tree many years ago. Let's just say they were both phenomenal and show different periods for him as a performer. So I'm going to enjoy both. If you get a chance everybody type in oh holy night Josh Groban live Rockefeller center and enjoy. This new version was filmed beautifully with warm and cozy scenery in the studio.
