Josh Kelly - Is an English professional boxer who has held the British Super Welterweight title since 2022 and previously the Commonwealth Welterweight title from 2018 to 2019. As an amateur competed in the men's welterweight event at the 2016 Summer Olympics and the 2015 European Games, in which he won a bronze medal, representing Great Britain. In 2021, Kelly took his first major step up in opposition when he faced European Welterweight champion David Avanesyan. Unfortunately for Kelly, Avanesyan showed to be the better man on the night and finished him within six rounds. Since this fight however, Kelly has gone on to achieve a 5 win streak improving his professional record to 15-1-1 (8 KO's).

If he doesn't improve then yeah, not everyone can go on undefeated for their whole career. Hopefully he adjusts and finds a way to keep his style but still win against higher level opponents.

The main problem is that this style plays well at first. Then he gets caught one good time and he stops evading and tries to out muscle the serious fighters, which is almost always a bad move when you're main advantage lies in your ability to slip punches and make them not land clean. Then you switch to going to all out war with the guys that hit harder and are used to being hit just as hard as they throw, and you get beat down. In almost every fight I've watched of him, if he got caught good and clean he's stopped evading for the most part and put all his hopes on winning on the inside and that's just poor fight planning by him and his team. He doesn't really have the requisite stopping power required to head hunt in a brawl. He should be using that superior maneuverability and taking away the fighters steam and legs with a relentless body Assault with head shots thrown in. That way when he tires and slows down a bit and they start catching him, it isn't as damaging as they lack the real mustard on their best stuff. He could still be great if he manages to develop a workable fight plan and sub plans to implement when the first goes south that actually play to his strengths.

Considering the style of Josh Kelly in my opinion he should train under Anatoly Lomachenko. Both Josh Kelly & Anatoly's son (Vasyl Lomachenko) have almost same fighting style. Head dodging, angle cutting, superb footwork & hands down.
