Wish he was in diamond league final. Just one more race Kerr! I guess he knows his body and is here for the long run. Maybe if he won Zurich he would go for final. But we know Jacob will likely win a paced race if he’s not sick so better for Kerr to finish the season on an amazing high from the incredible performances he has already accomplished this year!

I think he explained it well, but of course it’s another question why Zürich was at a different level than all of his other races in 2024. Even if we say this course/tailwind aided him 4-5s it was clearly the Kerr we’d seen all year. But it is a thin line in these super-fast races.

Jakobs best knock on Kerr is that he never races. Kerr is in this video saying he raced too much this season and it was super hard to race as little as he did. Meanwhile Jakob goes week in and week out dominating the circuit

Absolutely incredible. Considering you can't use spikes on a road, it's impressive he ran faster on a road than he did on a track, and 3:44 mile on a road is absolutely incredible, less than a second behind the WR mile on the track. I think he could be the first one to break 3:43 in the mile. Love the transparency from him! Take some time off man, you deserve it!
