No, in Europe Kebab (sometimes called Döner) refers to meat that is cooked vertically on a spit all day and normally is served as a sandwich with fries, though occasionally you'll find it in rice. Kebab meat in Arabic also refers to meat roasted on a spit all day, but specifically to lamb/beef and a certain combination of spices. Shawarma is similar, but a different seasoning is added and it is often made with chicken.

I am glad i only found out about this now, a year later. Yes, i do law. Swedish labor law to be specific. But my base education is food-tech. If this is supposed to be a swedish kebab-pizza then it is a variation i havn't heard of. The tomato-sauce is an american sugar-filled bastardization. The white sauce is more of a greek tzatsiki then an actual swedish kebab-sauce. The so called kebab-meat. I guess if you are cheap you use ground mixed meat. The fefferoni from the can and the dough are correct atleast.

The kebab we eat in Sweden Is traditionally cooked on one of those rotation grills, whether it’s served with rice, French fries, rolled in bread or on a pizza. If we use pork, it’s generally gyros, from the Greek recipe. I live in Norrköping where both gyros and kebab is hella popular on pizza. In other words, here kebabs is always 100% beef or lamb(very rarely cuz hella expensive) and gyros is pork. Norrköping also has the best mild sauce in the country which is a staple on any pizza or kebab, anyone who says different is from Finspång.

So, the east coast of Canada is kinda sparse, but most of the towns here have like at least 1-2 pizza places, which over time, have all mostly adopted to also selling Donair(how we spell it) in wrap & pizza form(also poutines). Our white sauce is usually just some combination of; condensed milk, garlic, and sugar. The meat itself is usually a combination of pork, beef, lamb, and cooked on a gyro. It apparently started at a pizza place in Halifax and spread like wildfire to all of eastern Canada, but has basically stopped at Quebec. Anywhere you can get Donair west of New Brunswick, the restaurant is usually run by someone who was from the east coast. It also might be the greasiest form of Gyromeat+whitesauce as a regional dish in the world?
