This seems to be more a ranking by TEAM performance of top-tier team & teammates than ranking by individual NFL-potential, pure talent. By those parameters, every aging fan could have some success as a QB … and even likely gain some useful yards as an RB behind a good pulling line?? 😂 Caleb Williams personally dragged his pathetic defense to wins in 2023. Simone Biles may be the only 2024 gymnast John Q Public could even name! Your comments about also-ran QBs in weaker supporting teams triggered this response … so who actually is the most SKILLED QB? Who is QB1 @ Pate State?

Agree, Milroe might be the most over-hyped QB i've seen in the last decade. The guy was literally last in the SEC for holding onto the ball, (can't get any worse than that) and if his 1st read isn't open forget it, he'll just stare at him until he takes the sack or panics and runs. note also, although he's got speed and strength, he runs like a girl always slides or out of bounds. I didn't see him run over anyone last season.

Im feelin a little insulted here. We'll know this weekend though. Let's see we have Lincoln Heisman Riley as coach. And Miller time Moss as qb. 6-1 first start. TD's that is. Made some quick small window throws. The receivers stepped up. By all accounts he's made improvement since that game. With the coaching and players around him i expect him to be top 3 Heisman vote getter. He's a gamer. His receivers are gamers. I'm not saying he's the best in the nation. He'll have to take some lumps like all kids learning to be qb, but he's going to give nightmares to defenses and their fans. Otherwise he'll be benched for a more talented backup. And he knows that. That's how Caleb got his start. He came from behind and beat Texas. He's already better than some of the QBs you mentioned.

I think people look at the wrong position when determining if Brock's going to have a good year. Yeah Bowers is gone, and so too are McConkey and Rosemy-Jacksaint, and that does constitute a big chunk your pass catchers through the air, but I don't think that's so concerning considering the depth Georgia's always able to build. (side thought on Georgia's depth, I saw GaTech pick up a solid defensive commit out of the state of Georgia, their 4th or 5th this cycle, and they're putting together a pretty nice class, and I just can't help but think they're doing it with NIL money and that maybe Kirby's chirping isn't from teams in Florida, but maybe someone in his own backyard sniping talent from him. I'm pretty sure the dude they just got was originally committed to Georgia earlier in the summer) What is concerning is that Daijun Edwards and Kendall Milton are in the NFL, and that's 62% of your running production...which in and of itself isn't supremely concerning, because Georgia depth. But it was concerning enough that Georgia went out and grabbed Etienne from Florida before fall brought us an injury to Robinson II. Now you have a coach shouting to the void about how NIL is ruining the integrity of the sport deciding if the literal gift of Etienne not getting a DUI because of a plea deal (which is in and of itself absurd, and I hate how police departments do this crap with athletes cause gawd forbid a football game get ruined cause a kid decided to do something mortally harmful to himself and others) means he might not have to bench him game 1. I think fully healthy Smart does the right thing and benches Etienne for the game, it's deserved for the behavior shown. He might consider starting him now that Robinson II is out. I think Brock and Georgia are good enough to overcome all of that anyway, but I'm saying if there's a thing to look at as a weakness for Georgia, and there isn't much, it's that they lost a ton of talent to the NFL, and at least on the RB side, it was a lot more significant, and their first option coming back is out. How Brock reacts to the stress of having gameplans definitively geared towards stopping the pass if they can't figure out who their RB1 or RB by committee is going to be made up of is going to be the story to me. Honestly he probably just gets better, and is forced to throw more and just has a more (yes I said more heh) productive year, but there's a chance the opposite happens.

Beck is not the best qb, he is behind a great line, and is a good game manager. If he needs to win the game, not gonna happen, e.g. sec cg last year. Just watch the highlights, he almost threw 4 picks against a defense with a pulse. Also not mobile enough. Good for the system, and maybe the best team overall, not the best qb though.
