I understand why you always emphasize that they aren't rankings and are power ratings, but the problem is that they ARE in fact power rankings. If they were power ratings then the number next to each team would be the rating that the model gives them and not the team's rank on the ordered list based on the rating. Maybe if you also listed the number that the model spits out people would understand what it is better

That’s basically what he does. The model doesn’t rate them on a scale of 1-100. It rates them on who would beat who and by how much. That’s why he tells us the point differential between rankings

@@user-mj7ps5wy9udid you watch the A&M vs ND game. It was 13-13 until 6 minutes left in the game. A few missed tackles and a bad angle on a run led to a 20-13 lead. A&M got the ball, got a penalty on 4th and short (refs were absolutely horrible that game calling for penalties). ND got the ball back, and kicked a field goal with less than a minute left. It was a much tighter game than the score would say.

I think when we get into conference play we’ll see some of these teams true colors. Usually week 1-2 and later in the season are cupcake weeks. But a lot of teams were impressive, a lot didn’t skip a beat, some shocked the world and some just didn’t look like themselves.

Josh, as an A&M Former Student, I'm telling you that you need to abandon A&M until further notice. Ever since Rick Perry became Lieutenant Governor in 1999 and Governor in 2001, his meddling fecal touch has put my school in a situation that can't be fixed.
