Nice video. I was too late for Molesworth last season so hopefully this time around. Probably won’t do the Gaulter section though!!! Hopefully the Whale Trail will be further along! Good truck for avoiding traffic on SH1 out of Picton is to go an hour after the ferry arrives - all the trucks have headed south already.

Cycled the Rainbow and Molesworth roads 25 years ago, good to see them again, but shame you didnt show very much of them, less eating more cycling! 😂

Riding up the Wairau Valley... shudder... typically a headwind. both times I've done it (up and down) have been into a headwind... although the down was noticeably quicker.
