Some tough trails with some good rewards. That hotel looked awesome. Nothing like making memories. Thanks for another great production. Take care, Al

Loved that route, tough one and steep sections but the views are some of the best in the country. Did you ride the Old Ghost Road too Josh?

Was that possum in a trap? I know they're an introduced species in NZ but that still made me sad 😢
@alexhofvander11 күн бұрын
I felt the same way. Sad to see an animal suffer like this. 😢

Yeah the possum was in a trap. Wasn’t a nice thing to see considering it was still alive. Most of the other traps I’ve seen are meant to be lethal to be more humane. I could have left it out of the video but it’s part of what I experienced and tells the story of what New Zealand is doing to protect the unique bird life.

Loving your NZ videos Josh well done. You’ll Love the S2S the weather will get better once you’re over Mackenzie pass. Also not sure what your plans are after Milford sounds, but come back on to the around the mountain trail thru to Queenstown and catch the steam boat from Walter peak.

@@Josh-Reid i am glad you show it like it is. And I take great inspiration from your style of storytelling. Yours and Kara and Nate. Think mine will be a mix in the future.

@@Josh-ReidPlease don’t include still alive trapped animals in a backpacking video. 😥
