could josh smith be one of the best guitarist today....? surely one of the top elite...

He's one of the best no doubt! But there's so many amazing guitar players right now it's hard to keep track.

And yet no-one outside of blues has ever heard of him or ever will, his friend Joe Bonamassa is 1,000,000x more celebrated than he will ever be, Josh is relegated to selling CDs in dinky bars and t-shirts on KZbin. Sounds like an olympic competitor who came 4th. No-one cares.

Totally agree. My short list these days is Josh Smith, Matt Schofield, Andy Timmons and Robben Ford, in no particular order. Travis Carlton has played with Robben Ford, as well.

THE BEST PLAYER IN THE WORLD!!! imho I Love a lot of different guitar players. I love John Mayer, Joe Bonamassa, and all The Usual Suspects. But this man has such a unique and seamless blend of pure Blues, Soul, Groove Centric jazz, country, Southern Rock, and mind-blowing improvisation! And he's a really, really humble, and nice guy on top of it! I had heard the name Josh Smith years ago, but for one reason or another never really had the time to check him out. I'm saddened by that fact! I'm so happy that I got introduced to him a few years ago, and he has become one of my, if not my, favorite guitar players in the world! He has a new fan for Life! 🙏 🙌 👏

Josh Smith fans are in for a treat. Recorded in 5 camera 4k video and multi-track lossless audio, the upcoming musical reality tv series "Stopover" premier season "In My Town" features Josh as the "Special Guest" of episode #2 captured on location on a set in Laguna Beach CA unrehearsed and in front of a live audience and backed by an all star band led by award winning LA music scene veteran, James Clay Garrison. Look forJosh's episode around December 2018

Natasha, you're the best! Thank you for putting this up. Dreamed of seeing Josh in person before I move out of SoCal in a couple months, but doesn't look like it's going to happen. Hopefully, the chance will happen sooner rather than later in Florida!
