+The Trendkiller He seems to have a lot of pointless wiring and weird shit he probably doesnt need. I mean I realise he needs a lot of different delay tempos and all that but fuck. If Tom Morello can manage with like 4 pedals...
@TheTrendkillerx9 жыл бұрын
Also, the part with the Kemper in the pedalboard. What's up with that? Well, to each his own I guess
@tuneupofficial9 жыл бұрын
+The Trendkiller +WillyT The entire setup sure looks complex, but in the end almost half of the stuff on there is there to create more control or make Josh's life easier. Noise gate, wireless, tap-tempo, midi-controllers, tuner, volume pedal, input selector, DI-box, line mixer, power supply, ... All this stuff doesn't affect his tone but make's switching tones just a lot easier and controlled. Playing all around the world also requires adjustments to your board so you're sure it will behave the same way whichever country/continent you play in. Also, we've met loads of guitarist with the same amount of pedals but who leave a lot of those off stage or near the amp. Josh just prefers to have them in front of him so he has full controll.
@TheTrendkillerx9 жыл бұрын
Tune Up Thanks for the information! Good thing I'm not his guitar tech ;)
@WAMMO6789 жыл бұрын
+Tune Up +Tune Up Thanks a lot! You are 100% right. I see a lot of guitarists using the Kemper but have it off stage. And after a better look at it, whilst it isn't actually a necessity, what he has would certainly make stuff a lot easier. I'm old fashioned I suppose, I like clicking pedals in between songs and fiddling a bit. But I suppose were I In his position I'd prefer something like what he has.

+kyleweeksy Hi Kyle. We heard the sad news about Tom Searle passing away. We're devastated. Architects is one of the prime reasons we at Tune Up listen to the music we listen to. They're an amazing band and have shifted the approach to modern metal and music in general. He will be missed but remembered. Our hearts go out to Tom's family, friends, loved ones, ... ps.: Not that it mathers at all, but we posted that reply 5 days before Tom passed away. Sorry of it caused any confusion or misunderstanding.

+higler420 It wasn't the TSA. He didn't secure the guitars properly, and he noticed that when the TSA opened up the case.
@joshsmith72478 жыл бұрын
+Joel Moore false, I had my guitars secured fine. TSA took them out of the case and when they put them back, did not secure them properly

@spoonerluv8 жыл бұрын
Some guy names himself Josh Smith (Northlane), infallible proof that it's him :^)
@higler.8 жыл бұрын
+Joel Moore yeah, it's easier to deny the authenticity of another poster, than to simply realize that you misheard what Josh said in the video(probably due to his thick accent). You do know the TSA does randomly check any "checked" luggage, and they will leave you a note saying they did so. So they checked this guitar case, and then didn't take any care to secure the guitar back in place. This is not uncommon.
