As much as that kind of job sucks there is something nice about going home at the end of the day not worrying about what work might be tomorrow or that you forgot something important.

@@scragar 100% true. I had to do a lot, but for me, it wasn't just about money. It was about having a purpose again. And that made me much happier. An elderly man came up to me as I was working on black friday. He tapped my shoulder and asked if I'd dropped a $20 bill on the ground behind me. I don't carry cash, and I tried to explain that, and he wouldn't take no for an answer. At the end of the weekend I used that to get me a nice big glass of beer, and a bowl of potato soup. It was an incredibly fitting way to celebrate surviving another year.

People opinions on what constitutes as "good" vary so wildly that many games are starved of content and variety because the "good" the majority of consumers enjoy is the only option there is. The only suffering that exists most of the time is the result of people not wanting to learn to play a game or outright rejection of certain types of gameplay and content in favor of streamlined same old same old.

Which is why game developers trying to make every game appeal to everyone is a mistake and why game developers just need to make games within a few genres they are good at developing games for instead of trying to cater to everyone with one game.

It's called streaming. Steamer is involved. If you wanna watch a game being played through start to finish without a person involved in the video, there are hundreds of commentaryless channels on KZbin that do just that. For any game you could imagine. So why in fucks sweet name are you coming to a place you KNOW will involve a person, that will be playing WHILE entertaining his audience 😅 that's what streamers do... you're not that dumb, surely. Clearly something is missing upstairs. 😅
