I hope you'll react to his song, Long Black Train. It's the song that launched his career. It stayed on the Billboard charts for 44 weeks. On average, a hit only spends 20 weeks on the charts. Also, watching the official video is a must, in order to understand what 'Long Black Train' is a metaphor for.

That's a myth, song usually stays on the Billboard charts for 50-70 weeks, especially if it hits number 1. And Long Black Train didn't even come close to number 1. It isn't that good, his second album on the other hand was huge.

Yes that man has such a unique voice. Only one other person I know has a similar distinctive one. 🥰 This was my sisters favorite singer and she hated country music . But we were able to attend his concert before she passed away, so I have very fond memories of that time we spent together . He has a lot of other great songs 🎵 that others have mentioned. 😊✌

Hello Taylor Fam. here's another Legendary country music artist that would be an injustice if you didn't give a listen. lol "Marty Robbins sings 'Running Gun" this is a gunfighter ballad and he had several of these songs. You could say he was "masterful" at singing these types of story's. This particular video is a live performance. He also had a wicked sense of humor. Thanks and take care
