Thank you for this! 2 years ago I had surgery and was super depressed I stopped working out and gained back 40 of the 65 pounds I lost the prior year. But even though I’m injury free now, this video shows how having a positive mindset will always be beneficial to athletes. Thank you for letting us see your progress (we harassed you enough lol)

I love that you’re not taking any time off after surgery and you’re not using your injury as an excuse not to pay the man daily... a lot of ppl will use that as a reason to sit back and relax, watch TV and veg out. Love the mentality of Navy SEALs... they operate on a different set of rules and expectations than most of the world around them.

Hi from Australia I have had 4 left knee acl reconstructions from a past life as an athlete and after my last one in 2017 was told I was going to need the exact operation you just had and to also stop doing everything except yoga , swimming and bike riding. And I’m a personal trainer and live in the gym! I’ve rehabbed to a point where I am more mobile at 40 than I ever have Been and almost hitting all time strength pr’s 18 months post op. Have been told I’ll need the tibial op and was uncertain about my fitness future but watching this and hearing your approach gives me hope! YOUR AN INSPIRATION. THANK YOU for letting us in and I look forward to following your progress... good luck my friend!

Great workout Josh and thanks for sharing mate! I’ve had four acl surgery’s on both knees over the years since I was a teenager in the 80’s and just last year I had a clean out on my knee which set me back 6 months because of the arthritis and just the damage I’ve done over the years! Now since discovering CrossFit I’ve adopted more of what you guys do and my legs haven’t felt stronger but I’m careful at it and obviously the weight bearing .... I so needed this last year to get me off the couch and out of a pretty depressing state of mind ! So watching this has been great to see what you can do and you blokes are so positive it’s great 👍🏼 cheers

Hey man, I'm PT and I absolutely agree with you. Post surgery rehab is a matter of passing through all the stages of the process of rehabilitation smartly. Doing the things right, giving to your knee the type of movements or contraccions that needs in every stage and respecting the rests times, t's hard to have a bad recovery. So you'll succeed and come back stronger. If you want, you can send a DM and I can help you giving some opinions and helping to find evidenced base information about protocols and all that stuff. #paytheman
