Bouncing back. My 14 year old son just suffered a season ending baseball injury to his hip. I'm showing him your last few episodes to get him to understand how to put in the time (physically and mentally) to come back stronger. Thanks for the motivation. PTM!

It is really gratifying to know that there are high performance athletes like you who after a knee operation or any type of operation can return to train in such a strong way and at the same time be humble of heart as you are. greeting from Mexico, I'm a big fan of yours.

Josh,s recovery cycle is every surgeons dream. I can’t tell you how many people sit around not moving post op. These people inevitably suffer post operative complications that the lack of movement causes. DVT, pulmonary embolism, infection and loss of range or function to name a few. Josh I have truly appreciated your approach to healing, well done .....but hey are we surprised?....NO cuz he pays the man.

I said it once and I'll say it again. Sundays are slowly becoming my favorite day. I am on your training program and recently started doing the military stuff. Would love to do the comp stuff someday but my job (chef) doesn't allow me to. So seeing this on a Sunday really gets me amped for the week to come. Thank you for being a straight up biscuit. *south African slang for awesome*

So valuable! I’m just now starting to think about doing some real exercise 6 weeks after total hip replacement. Having never gone through anything like this before it’s so helpful seeing how you’re easing back into things. Of course I’ll be scaling things appropriately to fit the recovery of a masters athlete with two years of CrossFit experience who’s simply looking to optimize health and wellness! 👊

I had a pretty nasty knee injury (broken and dislocated patella) and I still hit the gym...albeit seated or laying down for every exercise. These training through injury episodes really brought back some memories of how creative I would get with workouts. Keep getting after it!

Hey brother just wanted to let you know you’re a huge inspiration, just recovered from an inguinal hernia from a bodybuilding/power lifting style of training but you motivated me to start CrossFit. Happy Easter, love the idea of sticking a second movement in between sets, not just as an EMOM. I might look to add in some upper body every time when doing squat or dead's. Keep up the hard work.

Killing it!!! What are the benefits of the Ski Erg? I got my Concept2 for Christmas!!! Its been good to me. I have a bike attached to a trainer and a treadmill. Needless to say the treadmill has played third fiddle to the two lately.

Thanks for the video, Josh. Quick question: in your experience when it comes to strength training, where is the threshold between strength training and conditioning? (For instance, the skier is obviously conditioning and heavy squats are strength. However, where is the threshold between those two). I hope that question makes sense. Thank you for everything!

Hey Josh, nice videos. At the start of your workouts you stretch, is that not bad for the muscle to stretch it when you're still cold - risk of pulling something? Roller should loosen the tightness but I've always been thought/told to warm up first then light stretch as muscle got some blood flow and loosening. Chrs!

Hey JB - started doing cold tubs and it was a miserable and wonderful experience. Life started getting in the way and I noticed myself saying "eh I don't need to do it today" or just wouldn't. How do you stay motivated? I don't think it's the temp deterring me, it's just another thing to do, especially when I have to be awake at 4am some days. I know how beneficial they are for mental strength and some health benefits too, but need to find a way to do it every day. What do you suggest?

Well I'm currently screwed. I don't know if you remember or not but I had umbilical hernia surgery about a month ago and the surgeon had to go in again this past Thursday. Do you have any advice on how to recover from this?
