As a Serbian myself you should really update the Cabin its a very dated layout and with a new IFE System i am sure u can do better than this, Make Air Serbia No.1 Like Novak Djokovic, I also hope u have a fleet upgrade and start doing more long hauls all around the world !!!

Hi Josh I flew the same flights a couple of weeks ago. Must say I too was very impressed with the service onboard. The crew was impeccable, you can certainly see the Etihad influence. The seat was comfortable, i was sat in 4K on both sectors. Totally agree it was far more private. The food was very good, and of decent quality and standard. Would I fly them again??..Belgrade is a little out of the way for me and that's the only reason it would be a no. Next flight for me..FRA/EZE LH510..J Class..B748 excited to try LH longest route!

Hi Josh. Im a Serbian living in SYD. I have been going back home to Serbia. I fly with Etihad airways and Air Serbia from SYD. I can tell you that Etihad A380 is not very comfortable as the leg room is way to small. Im glad you have done a review of Air Serbia. Small airline company but growing and from what i see and read they do take pride in serving a great product to all customers. Great music choices as well.

I really like the livery that Air Serbia uses on its A330. After seeing your Jet Airways review I was expecting a similar experience on this flight but despite the dated interior it definitely seemed WAY better!

I have done a couple of Air Serbia Business & Economy Flights. Me personally I felt they did a wonderful job to tend to the passengers. Obviously a little more on the Business class but even their Economy flights are comfortable as well and I am a pretty big guy. For the entertainment part I don’t make a big deal bc I usually bring my tablet with a couple of download movies bc for those kinds of flights I prefer to sleep and Business seats are comfortable to sleep on. Above all your review is very spot on.

I flew this airline back when it was JAT (Jugoslovenski Aero Transport), and we used to joke that JAT actually stood for Joke About Time. They were ALWAYS late. In any case, enjoyed your video! Thanks!

Finally, someone who puts in proper Serbian music for a Serbian video... for the Balkans most people usually go for some variant of Hava Nagila, which, though nice, simply does not represent Serbia or anything else in the Balkans for that matter, like representing Germany with a French chancon.

Hi Josh, so excited to see a A330 air Serbia business class review. I have booked this flight in May and it is so hard to see reviews. Good to know I need to download my own movies beforehand. You seemed to have a good flight. I would have loved to see the lounge and the second meal before landing (I suppose there was one?). I used to travel air Serbia a lot a couple of years ago when Etihad just took over and it was a fantastic product, even on short haul planes a proper business class seat, economy had good food, the lounge even had a la carte dining served to the table. All that I believe has been discontinued unfortunately lately

I really enjoy your videos! Air Serbia looks like a great product. I'm super curious about your language history and background! When I first started watching your videos, I thought you might have grown up bilingual or multilingual and learned to speak English in either South Africa, Australia, or New Zealand. I was surprised to learn that you have German citizenship! To me, the way you speak English sounds like you might have learned it outside of Germany. I've never heard a German speak English in the way you do. If you'd be willing to share, I'd love to hear! No worries if not. :)

That was the same layout in Air Canada’s old business class product circa 2007-2017. I actually was able to sleep better in that layout versus the new herringbone config.

Thanks for such a comprehensive review Josh. It looks to have been a decent experience overall. The one thing that I hate about this configuration is that the seats face the aisle which reduces privacy and makes the windows so difficult to look out of. Air Serbia would not be my first choice across the Atlantic unless they came at a significantly lower price than other carriers.

Kudos - Air Serbia came long way from its predecessor JAT. I remember cigarette smoke smell coming from the pilot cabin on JAT flight a while ago - when I asked the flight attendant about it, she was trying to convince me that there is no smoke smell...

the Jet Airways experience was exactly like this except with more movies on their IFE. Sadly when you went Josh, this wasnt the case. Been almost 2 years now and its still sad to see Jet Airways gone. Anyways, loved the review mate, keep it up!

The lack of privacy and the poor access to the views from the window would be a deal breaker for me. Other carriers have great service and food that one can enjoy whilst looking out of the window without craning one's neck.

This year (2024) I flew Swiss air, Edelweiss, Air Serbia and Wizz air. What to say - Air Serbia is No. 1 then (drums) ... Wizz air. The Swiss operators while charging very high prices were just a joke, especially given what was served as food... Edelweiss on a 4-hour flight served couscous with cucumber and parsley and 1 (one) grain of pomegranate! In a reusable food box in the sexy color of... grey. I felt like a prisoner in the middle east.
