I've been to Iraq twice with my wife and we've had a tremendous time. People were so hospitable, generous, kind and warm. People were not willing to take our money and would invite us to their homes. I have been to 47 countries and I have yet to see anything like it. God bless Iraq and it's people.

Yeah Kurdistan has been very safe even during the war. US troops could walk around without weapons and armor. It makes me happy that Baghdad is starting to thrive again.

I really wasn’t expecting to see all those nice cars in Baghdad. Thanks for taking us on this tour of the city, it was very interesting. It’s great to see that the Iraqi people have moved on from the war. But Josh really? The waiters and waitresses at the hotel wear mini skirts?! Haha🤣 amazing video as always!❤️👍✈️

@coco marineblu the gov in kurdistan is definitely more open than the gov in baghdad but i would say baghdad society can be more open than that of kurdistan ( like how women dresses, or the fact that there is a huge secular movement there also a lot of girls dont wear hijab )except sadr city and some other parts of course

Beneath all the negative news that the main stream media always publish and broadcast about Iraq, little do they know about the everyday life of Iraqis in Baghdad who are having a normal life, with business as usual, and who are very much eager to welcome visitors from all over and show them around. Thanks a lot, Josh, for all your guts, courage, as well as your own brand of openness and sense of humour that make your videos very, very interesting. Beneath its notions that Baghdad is a war-torn city, you have brilliantly shown how its people are very, very friendly, with very exciting street food (it indeed would be a blessing for those who love very spicy food like me), its bustling bazaars/souqs with lots to of ethnic souvenirs and novelty items to buy as those perfect gifts for the folks back home--also reflective of the entrepreneural spirit of the Iraqis, and colourful Islamic architecture, plus streets that a very, very safe to walk and explore. Keep up your excellent work, Josh :-)

Ahh the tuktuks! They were the heroes of the revolution in 2019, they drove injured protestors to the hospital cause their vehicles were small and could fit through narrow roads and drive by the many protestors much easier. They used to be deemed as poor and underclass, especially since they were the cheaper option of the taxi, but now they're called heroes and are a symbol of the uprising in Iraq! And so many people donated so much to them during the revolution, the revolution really changed so much for the better in just a few months already... Even through death and suffering, the people came out stronger and more united. There were also so many articles written about them too, I suggest you read them! 😊

I search in google for hotel prices • All the prices you can imagine are available from the most luxurious hotels, such as the Babylon Hotel and others, which is the most expensive price around 150-200$ - but there are also great hotels, high-speed internet, free breakfast, free car parking, and other features of hotels at almost a price >40$ and even much cheaper because 1$ is equivalent to 1,460.50 IQD Iraqi Dinar

In fact, Baghdad is expensive a little bit .. maybe more expensive than Istanbul, but .. you can make it easier if you rent a car, rent a apartment by Airbnb or another apps or travel with the group Today there are many travel agencies in the US or Canada doing groups to Iraq especially from Texas, Michigan, San Diego, mississagua ON etc …
