I'm in the US and waiting on my pair from GOAT rn, I was really shocked that there was no hype around it. Although they did drop the same day as the Shadow 2.0'a, at it's peak it was about $230(USD) and now it's back down to $170. Not a fan of the infrared laces either, going and sticking white black, white or even if they added a baby/sky blue one or even yellow.

At the moment i have to decide between the TV Signal or the Midnight Navy Orange Label Dunk High SB. It's a hard decission because i can get the TV Signal for € 115,- including delivery. That price is cheaper than retail. But i have to be honest. If you compare the materials the Orange Label Dunks is much better and so damn clean what i prefer. I am still waiting for the offer for the Midnight Navy Dunks. i like the Look of the TV Signals but i think they are a little bit too special but the price will be an occassion in times of the SB Dunk hype. Some people say Dunk Lows and Dunk Mids/Highs have a half size difference. I think they both fit a half size small. I’m a 10 in Vans and 10.5 in Dunk Lows and Highs. While I can wear an 11 in Dunk Lows, there’s just enough room so I can’t skate them.

I think it’d make sense to learn the difference between nubuck and suede if you plan to continue reviewing sneakers... or at least try checking the description on Nike’s website or add the disclaimer that you “call any kind of ‘suede’ surface suede regardless of whether it’s actually suede” - just a thought... Also for what it may be worth to anyone who sees this & cares, that black material is a synthetic nubuck not suede, and though less relevant since this is at least ostensibly about shoes... that “TV signal” pattern mentioned near the beginning is a test pattern used by broadcasters and any home user with the knowledge re how to use it in order to adjust the color, contrast, brightness, etc. settings on the TV so that the broadcast picture looks like it’s supposed to. If you could see that signal back in the day clearly it meant you had a very good connection since you could see it... rather than it appearing when “the signal dropped” - it wasn’t something that came from inside the TV it was coming from a broadcaster... a bad or dropped signal created the “snow” I think dude alludes to re being represented on the insole of the shoe... where the timestamp is... something that represents how far in to a broadcast you are similar to that same timestamp counter thing you could make appear on the screen w/ a DVD or other playback type device. ...sorta at least somewhat like the timestamp thing you see when filmers have someone snap that thingy in front of the camera when they start to roll before “action” is called. I’d assume broadcasters used it to get commercials queued up for the right moment in time and to keep track of shows running over their allotted time... but I’m only speculating on that last part. Everything else I’m certain of or I’d have added some type of qualifier to the statement like “I think” this is definitely not suede

@@JoshDominic - I’ve been learning to build custom Jordans and have learned a ton about leather in the past year... there’s a channel some leatherwork dude has called “Rose Anvil” I’m pretty sure... but anyway he cuts diff shoes in half to see how they’re made & has done one w/ the Triple White Mids & another with a pair of Shattered Backboards. If you wanna watch any & don’t find him w/ Rose Anvil you probably will with “cut Shattered Backboards in half” - he has other videos about leather in general but those two w/ Jordans explain a lot of things I think really well for anyone regardless of prior info about leather re the different kinds & qualities of leather out there & and how to judge the quality. I dunno I’ve only watched those two of his vids but found ‘em pretty interesting plus thought he does a really good job of explaining the difference between diff leathers especially suede and nubuck b/c of a graphic he puts on screen that’s a picture that shows the diff sections of a hide from the original top surface “grain” layer on down. ...just fyi if you’re personally interested or wanna learn more re leather for your reviews. ...often without an exposed unfinished edge (not rolled/folded under itself or painted) on one of the panels though it can be basically impossible to tell how good or bad a leather is at least re how long it’ll last and how it’ll break-in... like will the toebox basically “crack” instead of crease or will it crease in a way that doesn’t look bad Sorry for any part of my first comment that may have read with an ugly tone... some of the way I wrote that was dumb. Re the kind of “plastic finish” on a lot of GRs. one thing Inwas surprised time learn from that dude’s video on the Triple White Mids is that the toebox on them is literally plastic. No wonder the “leather” creases so bad on certain pairs these days; they are literally using plastic on the toebox. Even w/ all the “grain” look on those Mids only the mudguard, heel counter, and one more piece I think the upper wings with the two upper eyeholes and logo on one side... are made of leather, which is almost or is the most trash kind of leather that exists... and the rest of that whole show’s upper isn’t even leather at all - kinda’ crazy at least to me - Cheers man

I still have the TV Mids from 2009. Beautiful upper with gray, brown, black, and white. Several materials. Really nice SB Dunk. These? These are garbage. It’s like a child’s sneaker. Skating in these seems sketchy, too.
