I got the red one and it might be my favorite. I saw you having trouble with the Fusion fitting so I went out runner. Those wheels are working on me 👍

It is amazing how just a little paint and some detail work really changes up the look. Working on finding suitable fabric for covering the seat in the 53 Chevy COE, and designing a CB radio to put on the dash.

Nice!!! I working on the small stuff too. I always get carried away with the chrome pen. The pen with the smallest tip gets clogged or broken. Because you really can’t press it down to get the ink flowing. Without ruining the tip. But great job!!! Thank You 🙏🙏🙏

Thank you for all your brilliant videos although there’s loads I haven’t watched yet. I’m going to get this latest rtr tf2 (never owned an rc4wd vehicle). Have you got a video where you show all the essential mods to do when first buying a tf2, eg gelande hoops, leaf spring adjustment etc
@RCeveryday5 ай бұрын
I have several, it’s always an evolving process though. The newer tf2’s are coming with some of the changes already made. I have a video made for the next week or so of my latest setup on a Scottsdale.

I’m loving watching the progress you’ve made with this truck. I’ll admit I’ve done the exact same wheels with the factory tires, but that combo looks amazing. I did the aisin hubs but noticed today that the red part of the hubs are gone. They’ve fallen off at some point I guess 🤷 You’ve now inspired me to try and do seat covers; they look so cool! No thoughts about doing a driver??

I’m still picky about driver figures. Probably won’t have one unless I happen across one that fits right.

On my crew cab I modified the windshield by completely separating it from the other windows and using E6000 to adhere it onto the body. I did the same for the vent windows. It holds in pretty well and gives me the option to add a headliner, It isn't perfect but it works about as well as the screws do. But those RC4WD interior kits look great, very good model of the real interior. Very nice to have it included in these RTRs, a huge amount of detail right out of the gate. as a curious note, My 1:1 had a brown interior, but right now it's uh-....brown, black, grey and white?...Because the dash, headliner and door cards are brown, the carpet is black, the exposed steel on the doors is white and the seats (custom installed from a 1986 Camry) are grey. Of course for a little while the dash was purple because my dad wrapped it in leather as a practice piece. The old dash pad was literally in 3 pieces from cracking and sun damage.It was so bad he even had to use fiber board stuff to rebuild some of it. It's brown again now because I managed to score a super good one at the local junkyard along with a tailgate, carb and a couple of little trim pieces. But the interior colors being all mixed up matches the outside being like 4 different shades of white!

How are you mounting the body? I just bought this and it effing sucks to mount
@RCeveryday5 ай бұрын
Using grub screws in the mounts so the body just pops on over them. I do it to all my tf2🤘
@axellness5 ай бұрын
@@RCeveryday any size grub screw? thanks man!
@RCeveryday5 ай бұрын
@@axellness I use any around 6-10mm long

I wish RC4WD would find a better mounting system for the bodies and interiors. I can live with the body mounting holes but the giant screws for mounting the interior make me sad.
